I was very impressed. Nick was very informative and took his time explaining things to me. On the test drive, he was patient and waited for my car to 'do its thing'. He was honest saying it wasn't the transmission but that my wheel bearings or struts need to be looked at. A Hugh difference in cost than a transmission!

Don't take your vehicle anywhere else for repairs. These guys know what they are doing on domestic or foreign cars.

Thank you again.Updated: Apr 28, got my wife gx460 tuned up, all fluids replaced and new spark plugs. Got my daughter ls 430 all new brake pads and rotors. If you have an issue with an imported automobile, they have the answer.Ive had my Audi in for sensor issues for the convertible top whereas I had taken it to another import shop in town a number of times.They would "fix it" and the next year I would be taking it in for the same issue.This went on for at least three years.I heard about Transmission Specialists and it was fixed the first time with no issues afterward,this has been about three years ago.They also fixed the suspension and audio system for this car.So the shop doesn't limit itself to just Transmissions.Although the just did a fantastic job on my Porshe when the clutch broke recently.I do highly recommend them.

This place is the spot! Honest and the communication was great! Went to Nissan for diagnostic services due to my vehicle not working right. They wanted to do a whole new transmission and more costing more than 6k!!! What !? No way!!So Took it here for a second opinion since they specialize in transmissions..... well it wasn't the transmission but some gunk build up and it was fixed. So if you are looking for honest help with your vehicle. Go to these guys!!!!

Fair, honest mechanics! They dig German vehicles so don't take the Benz to Napleton's. Take it to them!! My go to mechanics for everything from oil changes to major mechanical.

I bought a used Mercedes and within a week of driving it I could tell the transmission was having issues. These guys let me bring my car in right away to do an inspection and found out that I had a cracked transmission. They made sure to call me right away and gave me very good advice about the car, honest, no bs. I really appreciate the service they provided me. They run a good business and I would trust my vehicle with them for future maintenance.

I did not get any work done here but the owner was very personable and willing to help. Offered reasonable estimates and I would certainly go to him if I do need anything in the future.

I work for another auto shop that doesn't really like to work on foreign cars. I called the owner of Transmission Specialist & Auto Repair and he gave me advice about what to do for my stalling VW. The only thing I had done differently was have an oil change with a knock off brand of oil. I told the owner what I had used in place of Castrol oil because the vendor I purchased the oil from said this oil was the same as Castrol. That was incorrect, I could hear my chains rattling! OIL MATTERS!! The owner of this place, got very aggravated and exclaimed, " GET GARBAGE OIL OUT OF CAR NOW!!!" It was the best advice ever, I changed the oil and now I have no more problems. If I ever have a problem with my car and the shop I work for can not solve it, my car will go here. Thank you!
