“Cannot believe I am writing a favorable Verizon Store review. But I am. Hate shopping at iPhone stores with a passion. Will not go into the long list of what I find objectionable; it's long and I would rant. Prepared for this visit online. Requested an apptmt. Described the issue. Gave as much info as I could. Showed up early for apptmt to check in. Only one person ahead of me. Minimal wait time. Hardly any bother. Friendly staff inquired about issue, checked things out, described the two options and what they would entail. Decided to try a local repair option -- Ubreak-Ifix -- with whom Verizon apparently has an arrangement. Only two blocks away. They had an apptmt right then. Service covered under warranty. Ok. Whole situation did not involve high pressure sales tactics, excessive wait time, crowds, tons of technology I don't care about. Simple, fast, effective. Went to the recommended repair shop. They fixed the iPhone immediately. Could take it right home. Good as the day I purchased it! Unfathomable. A pleasurable Verizon Store experience with an efficient and effective outcome.
