After a disappointing experience with a different shop I decided on calling Dan's Diesel Performance. I was not only able to get it in the very next day but they were also able to fix the problem. They informed me it was a common issue and that it wasn't a big deal. Made me wonder why the previous shop was unaware of this. I wish I would have called on these guys first but you live and you learn. I will think of DDP for any of my future vehicle issues.

Not going to give less than 4 stars as I cannot comment on the work since I have never been able to get in touch with the service writer, the GM for over a month now. I have called many times and have been directed to the GM service writer voice mail each time with no call back. I called on 2/1/24 for the last time with a promise that the service writer will call me back but never did. They must be super busy since they could care less to return calls in what can be understood as a timely manner. The owner must be on extensive vacation and the GM is running the show with not much enthusiasm to call people back and provide estimates. Must be super busy.

Cant thank dans diesel enough!! I had a big work order for them to complete on my lb7 dually. Complete new brakes and hardware, steering, power steering, complete injector job, downpipe, exhaust, air intake, lift pump, the list goes on. They were able to turn my truck around in a week and half. When it first came in there it was hazing bad had no boost and no power and a bunch of other issues. Now its like awhole new truck!! I highly recommend them for your diesel work! Great communication and great turn around on jobs!!Thanks guys!!

100% satisfied will continue to order from this company.Update to my 100% satisfied customer note here but currently had a fuel pressure issue and it was with a cp3 conversion and come to find out i had 2 wires crossed. Huge help thank you again if i could leave a 10 star i would

Dan and crew are the best in the biz. We as a company have utilized a variety of their products on our fleet of LML trucks.From head machining, TCM tuning, replacement exhaust, injectors, injection pumps and related parts.The TCM was a big one for us, every driver appreciated the revised tuning while towing.From sales to tech help, you can't go wrong.Thanks to Dan and crew!

Worst customer service a guy could ask for. Very good at selling something claiming it is something that it isn’t. Had a 65 on my lml and asked them about upgrades and claimed their 68 would be perfect for it with very low amount of lag. Damn thing doesn’t light in general. Did the typical run around on how it’s the trucks fault and garunteed it was intercooler. So of course bought one from them and changed nothing. Then claimed it’s gotta be tcm tuning, you can guess how that went. Worse than your guessing. We will just say that. Turbo has 1000 miles on it and currently putting my 65 back on. $6000 down for a turbo they claim to see 750hp for my exact mods done to my truck. Terrible people. Have yet to hear from “Dan” at this point don’t even believe he is real. Thanks for all the help! You guys are great.

Almost always has the parts you need in stock and the guys are very willing to help with technical questions! Dan has always went out of his way to help me out even after hours or meeting somewhere closer to me with the parts I needed.

Dan has been super helpful and has went above and beyond helping me sort out a fuel issue on my lbz, ordered a v3 and tuning as well and received my order quickly! Will be ordering more parts in the near future! can not say how thankful I am for his help and kindness! Talking to Dan is like chatting with an old friend, thats the kinds of interactions I like!

Horrible have had our truck for 5 weeks now....no updates nothing until you call and she is very rude and nasty. If you want a truck fixed in a reasonable amount of time do not go here. They even left on a 2 to 3 week vacation no warning if you need it nothing and he is there i swear 1 day a weekBut Horrible management..

Dan and his team have been great, I purchased a tcm over a year ago and my truck has been great been driving it all over the country with no issues with trans. Also I recently purchased 60% injectors through Dans and my truck had been running great! I appreciate the service and prompt delivery on products. Will definitely be a return customer!

Well, I drove from Chicago to Dans Diesel Performance for a turbo swap, suspension upgrade, and a few other upgrades. Yes, I could have had the work done in or around Chicago but why would I not take the time to drive the distance knowing the work will be done by the best in the business. Seems like a simple decision to me (and a wise investment). My Cummins has NEVER run so well. The drive will be one I make for ANY other work needed. Couldn’t be more pleased.

I Highly recommend dans diesel performance bought a ddp intake for my lb7 duramax on a Monday got it by Friday the same week. Make the engine bay look better and make the truck sound awesome. Would buy from again
