If I could give a zero, I would! Had our snow blower for 5 months! Like some other reviews said, never returned messages or texts. Voice mail was always full. Finally drove there and got it back after 5 months. Unrepaired.

Excellent service and workmanship. Brian and Amber went above and beyond to help my son with his mini bike repair. They worked directly with the manufacturer as this was a Warranty repair and made sure everything was checked front to back. The mini bike operates better now than it did when we brought it home from the store. Great communication and the repairs were completed as promised. I recommend this business 100%.

The worst possible place to take anything. This business should be out of business. It would take pages of typing to explain their lack of customer service. Lack of communication. Please run as fast as you can away from this place. Do not let what happened to me happen to you.

This is the most DESPICABLE business I have ever seen. It has taken me several months to be calm enough to write the words which you are about to read. Time after time after time, they would not answer their phone directly, and would send you off to voicemail, but then the voicemail would be full so you could not even leave a message. No communication unless they wanted to talk to you. So I would take off early from work to stop in their business, in person. Lies and false promises of calling me back when Brian was back home, were never fulfilled. Why isn't he there working during the day?THEY HAD MY TRACTOR FOR 3 YEARS..!! It had been left out in the elements. It had been sitting in their driveway on occasion, and then mysteriously gone. After months of inactivity, I had to find someone to re-machine the engine block, and I shuttled the engine block to the machine shop myself. Amber would claim she could not open up the shop and let me see my tractor. Brian was there on a rare occasion, and would even talk semi-reasonably to you, but would not / could not deliver the tractor. This happened week after week, month after month. I would get so upset with them and their lies. I would arrive so frequently, that the kids knew my car and my name too, and the parents would even have kids fabricate stories to me. I would witness them look at their cell phone when it rang, and watch them dismiss the caller, or occasionally speak to the caller if they wanted to. I even tried to involve the police, but the owners would not answer the door when this was attempted. I tried an approach using a lawsuit as a point of discussion, and was threatened by the wife.I had enough and said just give it back to me. It was in pieces, so I told them they had a week to put back together. When I got it, some parts had been lost and replaced with other parts. I had to pay as if it was repaired, but it ran worse than when I brought it over in the first place. If you need a spark plug changed, maybe they can do it, but I would not take anything there, ever again. My new "go to" shop is TL's Small Engine Repair, just East of Shirland, Illinois.

I was having trouble starting my snowblower due to what I thought was a clogged gas line. I contacted Brian's, and they arrived when they said they would. They also took my riding mower for an oil change. They called within a couple hours and both were returned the same day. Turned out the snowblower had something else wrong with it. The issue was fixed and it runs better than ever. I'm glad I called them, and will definitely use this service again.

They maintained communication throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any future repair work.

Brian has been fantastic. He picks up promptly and is very reasonably priced. He swaped an engine on my zero turn as well as various tune ups over the years.

What a joke for a small business owner, i dont recommend this guy to anyone ever. I brought him a chainsaw , 2 months ago an he said ill have it back in a week, said he fixed an replace carb. But never even loosen one bolt to look inside, theres still wood dust all over the nuts , unreliable, untrustworthy, poor communication, do yourself a favor an find someone else

I would give a zero if possible! This person is unreliable and communication is nonexistent. We gave him a small piece of equipment and he said it would take him a week to fix them. Fast forward 2 months we still have no equipment and we have only gotten a response from him 1 time when we sent him a scathing text message asking whats going on with our equipment. If you try to call he just hangs up on you so he will only respond via text if he feels like it. Do youself a favor and go somewhere else.

It has been over a year with no communication no response in regards to my lawnmower. I’m glad I have them picking up my lawn more recorded. I recommend not using these services.

I was in the market for a used snow blower. I contacted several small engine businesses in the area and it was Brian and Amber who responded promptly and professionally. They delivered the snow blower and walked me through the entire process of operation and answered all of my many questions. Our first significant snow fall came in late December. I was thrilled the blower worked well and got the job done (the snow was wet and heavy). My second use, I encountered the blower starting...but stalling immediately...we all know used mechanical equipment has many moving parts and a mind of it's own...it happens.I trouble shooted, unsuccessfully. I contacted Brian and Amber and asked for support. They once again responded promptly and professionally.A family member was hospitalized so they had much on their mind and on their plate...but in true Brian and Amber fashion, they came to my home and serviced the blower, on site.I enthusiastically, without hesitation, recommend Brian's Small Engine Repair. Customer service is second to none!Keep up the great work Brian and Amber! Thank you for taking good care of me.

Dropped my push mower off on a Monday. Dealt with Amber. Very professional and up front with me. Told her I was having problems with it starting. She offered a tune up and I said Yes. She called me Friday and said that it was ready for pick up and that it was all tuned up and fixed. Starts like a charm every time now. Highly recommended them for mower repair. Very reasonable and dependable. Thanks

Brian and Amber had the drive belt on my riding mower repaired and back to me in less than 24 hrs. Brian also found that the last person who replaced the belt bent the guides and put the pulley on backwards which caused it to break so he fixed that too! I highly recommend them. prices are reasonable too.
