Every time I’ve been to this post office, I’ve had a great experience. The workers have always been helpful. The passport agent was incredibly kind and patient as we had the challenge of photographing our toddler for his passport application.

Went to the Lions post office to renew my passport.
Sheldon, the postmaster was of the upmost helpfulness he took us in early and was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable of his job. It is a true pleasure to work with someone who knows what they’re doing and he knows what he’s doing. Thumbs 👍 up to
Sheldon.

Accompanied my boyfriend to the post office to get his passport. We arrived early, and Sheldon was able to get us in and out even before the scheduled appointment time. The staff was super friendly and informative, and overall was probably the best post office experience I've had.

The USPS is Rapidly going downhill because of President Trump's appointment of a person who had now experience with the Postal Service. The Postmaster General was always someone with Experience in the Operation of the Post Service

Shoutout to Danielle at the Lyons, IL Post Office for going above and beyond! My package was lost in the mail for over a month and kept getting circulated through Chicago, Fox Valley, and Lyons post office. It's final destination was supposed to be Pennsylvania! I called the Lyons Post Office and Danielle was able to retrieve the package and identify that the scan bar/bar code must have had an error, as the address was correct on the label. She replaced the labelling and reshipped the package to me. Thank you for going the extra step to help a customer out!

I got a PO Box because I moved out of the area and I work late. I was told it was open 24 hours! I'm an hour away and I've gone three times and it's been closed. My PO Box is way too expensive for this nonsense! They can't even bother putting up a sign to let us know the new hours! Then then when you call it's a nightmare!!!!

I often go out of my way to use this post office instead of the post office nearest me. Every employee has been incredibly friendly, patient and helpful, and I have had nothing but good experiences here.

Arrived at the Lyons Post Office about 10:45 there was another person waiting. After a minutes or so I asked if he was waited on and he said no.Then a worker comes out and says just a minute I’ll get someone10 minutes later (not counting the time the man in front of me was waiting) and then he left tired of waitingA person comes slowly walking outCan I help you? Yes need postage for this oversized envelopeAre you paying cash ? YesSo now she does have her drawer set up, they open at 9 and she’s first setting up her drawerAnother 5 minutesTerrible service no sense of urgencyHire people that are willing to work
