Rude cashier my recent visit, completely ignored when greeted and asked how they were, store is always disorganized, and several times have been closed before their posted open times.

Under new management and the difference is amazing. Neat and clean, no boxes in the aisles, and opens on time. Special shout out to Reginald for being so pleasant and helpful. Definitely my go to dollar store from now on.

This is one of the BEST Dollar General stores I've ever visited! It's very clean, neatly stocked with plenty of products, has friendly and helpful staff, and there's plenty of parking! It's located on the corner of Glenwood-Dyer Rd. and Stoney Island Ave., just a few blocks south from the awesome community resource that is the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library (visit them in-person, online, or see my review about them and what a helpful, useful and amazing resource that library is!) I used to live in Lynwood and still frequently visit Glenwood. This particular area was in desperate need of a store just like this Dollar General! While you still have to travel to either Dyer, Indiana or to where Glenwood borders with Chicago Heights or Homewood, Illinois, for fresh produce or prescription medications, this Dollar General has GREAT deals on LOTS of your basic household needs (like paper towels, other paper products, cleaning products, and bath and beauty products), LOW prices on frozen, refridgerated, and pantry foods (pizzas, cheese, milk, coffee, and chips are a few examples). They have pet food and supplies for cats and dogs as well! They offer many competitively priced beauty and health products - this is where you want to go to get the best prices on things like facial scrubs, loofas, body washes, lotions, haircare products, razors and oral care products. This is also a great place to purchase cards, ballons, arts and crafts, toys, stationary and home supplies like bath rugs, blankets and storage bins. If you want the BEST deals, download the Dollar General App on your smartphone. You can access their digital coupons there! As of this writing, this location is hiring. So, if you need a job, this would be a great place to apply! I love this Dollar General and would recommend it to anyone!

I had the pleasure of shopping at the Dollar General located in Lynnwood, Illinois. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the store. The shelves were all faces and the floors were clean and clutter free. I then met (the manager) Chris. I needed help finding a product, not only did he tell me where to find it but he walked me to it and grabbed it for me as it was out of reach. Next, I had the pleasure of meeting \\\"D\\\" at checkout. There was an issue with the cash register D called Chris up to help and boom the line moved quickly and the young men kept their cool and spoke to every customer going on and out. Staff was very friendly! An associate named Mummy was very professional and helpful. We need more staff that conduct themselves like that in our community. Store needs more inventory but other than that a good experience.
