I moved to Rockford a year ago and this is my new preferred vet clinic. The doctor knows her stuff and really cares about the patient, takes the time to listen to you and examine them to figure out what is going on. Prices are the best in the region, cash or check only, she takes a step by step approach with them instead of loading you up with unnecessary tests. Be aware due to the low cost they are very busy and you will wait, but it is worth it.

The best vet hospital in all of Rockford! Best prices and caring vet & vet techs. Dr. Smith is an animal whisperer. She loves what she does and she does it well. Expect a little wait time but please be assured that she will provide and care for your pets. She treats every single animal like her own. I’ve had 2 separate incidents with 2 different animals and Dr. Smith was the only one in town willing to help out the same day!

I love my vet! She showed me how to clean my ginger cat's ears. My furchildren are well cared for here. I can see the genuine love everyone in that office has for animals: their faces light up.

She's been with me and my fur babies since birth to death, that over 22 yrs. She will take my middle of thenight calls and on Christmas day when my beloved gunner passed away she was able to meet me asap to drop him off for his cremation.

Dr Smith is excellent! Another local vet told me my JRT is at the end of his life and there's nothing they can do.... first visit she found he has a heart condition and issued him meds. That was 3 years ago and he's doing awesome! Be prepared to wait- being an animal lover is her art form and she will spend as much time with your pet as she needs to. Seriously- don't act like a jerk. I see it every time I go. People do not understand, the staff is not in the back looking at Tic Tok.

Dr. Smith is amazing! She has been seeing my cat through some very difficult times recently and she has been a godsend! She has stayed past business hours to run tests and come in on her day off! She truly loves animals and it shows! Would highly recommend!

Their phones don't even work, I tried calling three times total to make an appointment and every time the receptionist couldn't hear anything and then acted like it was an issue on my end. Even used a different phone and still no luck. Don't even bother.
