Made the mistake of not going to my normal barber before leaving for the holidays. Never going here again. Completely rushed and not even any less expensive than my usual stop where they give you 3 times the attention and effort.

Surprisingly insensitive and poor service.Full Review:As a previously happy customer at Sport Clips Haircuts, I regret to share my recent unsatisfactory experience at their Long Grove branch. My son and I visited on a Saturday evening, looking forward to the high standard of service and efficiency we've come to expect. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of these expectations.Despite arriving on time after registering online, and being the only customers in the waiting line (with two others receiving haircuts), we faced an over 30-minute wait. The presence of four staff members didn't translate into attention or service; we were practically invisible to them. When I raised this issue, their response was not just unprofessional, but also outright rude.The manager's reaction was equally disheartening. Instead of empathizing with our situation, they chose to justify the staff's discourteous behavior. This starkly contrasts with the excellent customer service we've previously experienced at Sport Clips.However, I must commend Carmen, whose exceptional service and effort to make our visit pleasant were the sole highlights of our visit (and the second star on the review). Yet, due to this experience, I am compelled to advise against visiting the Long Grove branch and recommend exploring other locations.Service: Kids' cuts

My boyfriend gets his hair cut here usually by Dana and its great but last time he got it cut by some different hairstylist and had a really unflattering straight bowl cut in the front. Now he’s frantically trying to fix the damage but there’s not much left to work with. I don’t see how any qualified hairstylist can leave a client’s hair looking like that. Sticking with Dana from now on.

I'm a bit shocked by the negative reviews. We have always had a great experience at Sport Clips Haircuts of Long Grove. Check in online (you can choose your preferred stylist or do next available) and then go when it's your turn. We love it! I just wish they have this type of service for women. The salons I go to book up weeks in advance for weekend or evening hours. I don't want to have to plan a haircut like I would plan my vacation! Lol.
