Romantic center of that little, old town.

The Long Grove businesses that are still open are great. I wish more businesses would come back in. It's such a lovely area.

We enjoyed our time in Long Grove. A nice place to have a stroll around the historic town. Unfortunately a fair amount of shops were closed and it was a weekend day.

At Christmas time, this town looks like it is from a Hallmark movie. There are Caroling, Santa, and carriage rides. Also, nice coffee shops, candy shops, and much more.

We went to The Strawberry Fest ?It was such a cute, quaint little town. We enjoyed all of the shops, especially The Irish Boutique ☘️The weather was perfect ! The live music was fun . And the Strawberry kabobs were delicious !

It's lovely! It's quaint. Makes you feel like you stepped back in time. They do hold a lot of events and festivals here but this is literally the only suburb that does not accommodate bathrooms (which is a bad idea when you have a bunch of tourists chugging on the beer they're always selling at their events). If it weren't for the restroom issue, this would easily be a 5-star experience!

Loved it! The chocolate festival was bigger and better the only complaint is that being a chocolate festival there wasn't a lot of selection of chocolate and no dark chocolate which I love but the music and atmosphere was good

Definitely not a good experience at all. When my husband and I showed up at 4:45 they said they weren’t taking anymore people with an attitude. We bought tickets in advanced months prior, and our ticket time was 5:00pm on the last day. When we departure back, there was a line waiting to get on and they told the people waiting, they left at 5pm, when they left at 4:57pm. When i checked online all slots were filled, it was the other family that paid for tickets in advanced. I know it was a colder night out, but that should be expected. If they can’t make their customers happy because of the cold they shouldn’t be doing any carriage rides at all. Also, the ride was very short and they weren’t giving us any information on why long grove was historic. Will not be going back for $15 dollars per person. Terrible service with rude employees.

My daughter and I went here for Irish Days a few weeks ago. Everyone was really nice, friendly, and helpful. It wasn’t super crowded, we were easily able to find a seat, and it was peaceful and relaxing being out in that area.

A truly unique, downtown village feel. Had family photos taken at the park, loved it. Cover Bridge was fun to cross.

So sad that most businesses are gone! It used to be such a fun place to visit and shop. I hope something happens to help them get back to where they used to be. I miss going there.
