A cute shop with new locally sourced items, plus antiques. Need I say more? Ok, I'll say more. I bought antique salt & pepper shakers, lil blue lambs, that remind me of my grandma. Love shopping here!

Cute shop perfect for gifts. They have a variety of locally made goods including a huge selection of soaps! Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly.

Very nice shopping experience. The owners are very helpful and personable. Can always find unique items, antiques and practical gifts for everyone. Located in a quaint Hallmark Christmas town.

Very cute shop! Nice things for good prices. It seemed like a great place to find unique and vintage things you definitely can't find easily, but it came without the antique store upcharge. Staff were very friendly.

The Best of Long Grove! I love to go to Long Grove even though most of the stores have sadly disappeared except the The Country House has managed to stay alive. Wonderful items from all over and very well decorated. I always find something in my travels to buy whether its great smelling soaps or a wonderful picture to hang on the wall. Thank you Country House for hanging in there, we ALL hope that Long Grove will come back.

If there were negative stars that's what I'd given them. I do NOT, I repeat I DO NOT recommend this place. What a crock of crap; they have a cool weather vane on display marked $59.95, we inquiry about it and the kid says oh it's $69.95, I said ummm it's marked $59.95, kid says oh we had to raise our prices because we're being charged more. REALLY? That is not my problem; you have an item marked with a specific price that's what a customer should pay. Sucks to be them on the loss of a sale.
