Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.

Love affair with VM. Some more hip ladies clothing would be nice, but I can still find something. However, the shoes!! Great accessories. Love the jewelry. And helpful staff. Dig the piano music too. Interest free account credit card? And shopping points. Can’t beat that!

I think Von Mauro is a quality store with an excellent selection. We went one day for my wife to get a few things, and we had our dog with us because the York Town Center is dog friendly. I stayed on the main paths while my wife shopped, and we bought around $500 worth of clothing. But while shopping, a sales clerk came up to me to let me know that dogs weren't allowed in the store--only to pass through to the mall area. Again, I was on the main walkways and not in the clothing areas, and we are buying $500 worth of clothing. She was a bit rude. Otherwise, all interactions we have ever had have always been wonderful.

Place is great. I had a bad experience a few years ago at the Chanel counter with a Hispanic lady yelling at me,so I gave this place none of my business for the longest time. Now my favorite section is the shoe room.

If you want to buy shoes for whoever and whichever occasion go to Nordstrom not this store.They do not have customer service.I bought my son dress up shoes. Before buying them I had help and got persuaded to get them. My son ended up getting blisters on his ankle and it got infected quickly that I took to the urgent care. He got treated and I was recommended to return the shoes and explain the situation. Von maur did not care. I had proof and all. They don’t care about their customers just how much they are selling.Before coming to con maur to try to return the shoes I was at the mall down the street Oakbrook. Went to Nordstrom and saw the same shoes. I wish I would’ve gotten them there because I explained the situation to them and they told me they would’ve handled and returned them without a problem. They even told me to try to return them to von Maur that maybe they will give me the same customer service experience.. but they did not.Don’t come to von Maur. I’m not sure why the store isn’t upgraded if they make a lot and refuse to help their customers.

Highest rating for a fabulous department store that is not afraid to preserve the concept of quality customer service. Currently, because people are returning to work in person, the demand for clothing is high, and the store is well-stocked. The ladies will love the large selection of hats and fascinators that are available just in time for Derby Day.

My friend took me here to shop for a mother of the groom dress. They have a huge selection of beautiful dresses. Several of them are on clearance. The ladies working in the dress department are available to help you try dresses on and the store offers dress hemming. We had a great time and I’d recommend the store!
