I have called in the past about this same issue. I have bills waiting to be picked up and nothing. It's only Wednesday and this has happened twice this week already. Seriously the worst postal service ever. Even if there is no mail to be delivered someone should still check to see if there's mail to be picked up. They just don't give a damn. Guess I'll start dropping my outgoing mail off at the Villa Park Post Office since Lombard doesn't care about the residents they're supposed to be serving. Unbelievable.
Again, today 6/6/2024 I had mail to be picked up and surprise it's 6:20pm and no pick up. I called and was told that I need to call in the morning to let them know I have mail to pick up. I said I'm not doing that and that's their job to check to see if there's outgoing mail. I guess a note is going to be left for the carrier. Totally unacceptable.

Worst location ever! Always a long line and just 1 person behind the counter that ends up taking their sweet time. Avoid this location and go literally anywhere else. The people here don't give a f!

If you have an issue or question about a package good luck. I have tried to call this post office probably 20 times over the past few days and they won’t answer. Super frustrating when you can’t even get anyone on the phone to tell you anything. I’ve called at various times too. Idk what they’re doing in there. I’m sure my package is lost by now.

Bad service...they keep telling me they drop a package in my mailbox ..with a wrong address ...that is unbelievable..how come ...85 DOLLAR THAT lost and are not responsible for it ..

I like this location because there is usually no lines and huge parking lot. Personal mail boxes are available. Handicap accessible from parking lot to the building.

Unfortunately teller at counter was unhelpful, rude, and condescending. Would recommend going elsewhere due to poor treatment of customers. Lady you should be trained to help people not shoo them away so you can sit on your lazy a** and do nothing!

Our Lombard USPS has done a 180 wrt their customer service. I've been sending a number of packages (mostly ebay stuff) since late last year and the staff at the service counter have been nothing short of great. They have been very friendly, courteous and helpful when I am sending packages. They advise me on the cheapest way to send things and always offer a smiling face. This is not the way it always was, but they are really trying. Sure sometimes there's a line of folks waiting for service, but they do move quickly. I've asked a few times if there's not any other staff and they have told me that its been very hard to hire staff - but the folks they do have are great. Keep up the good work!

I don't live in Lombard, I was out there from Chicago looking to pick up a chair I wanted to purchase on Facebook marketplace. The address I was looking for was on the 1N Argyle block and MapQuest sent me to the 2N side of where I needed to go. Your delivery person was out delivering mail and I flagged him down and he so graciously & immediately jumped out of his truck and helped me find where i needed to go. While this isn't a mail delivery review it is a review of what a great employee you have. I did not catch his name but he was on the 2N argyle st area, blue eyes amazing smile and super kind And I wanted him to know how grateful I am because I hadn't had a clue where I was and MapQuest was no help as well ! so if you can forward this to him please do I thank you for saving this damsel in distress kind Prince. Keep be an amazing human

I just wanted to give a big shout out to your postman delivering in the 2N. area in Lombard around 12 pm today. I came from Chicago looking to purchase a chair on Facebook marketplace and MapQuest gave me wrong directions. I flagged him down and he immediately jumped out of his van to help me find my way to where i needed to go. The Person I needed to meet called on the phone while he was giving me directions to let me know he was there waiting for me and I had to swiftly leave. So I didn’t feel like I got to properly thank him and let him know how much I appreciate him helping me today Thank you handsome sir for saving this is damsel in distress So many people are so quick to complain so I think it’s important to complement as well I hope this message somehow gets to him so he knows how grateful I am, I didn’t have a name but he had gray hair and beautiful blue eyes with a killer smile Sincerely Juls

Worst postal service in this state! Cancelled a PO Box after buying my home. They screwed up all my mail, still missing important mail like my kids last paystub from job. Never got. First Credit card for my 19 year old - never got. Cards with gift cards inside from friends and family congratulating us on home purchase - never got. Hope the Lombard postal service workers are enjoying all my gift cards. Get your head out your arses and do your job right!! Major headache trying to get my mail. Ridiculous. They tell you - it will get return to sender, don't worry. Funny - none of the cards got returned to sender. Everything is missing. Go to Villa Park instead - Lombard PO can't do anything right and most likely stealing your mail.
