I feel very bad because of the bad treatment from the staff. The saleswoman is very arrogant and does not give you the opportunity to choose the furniture. I already had my account with more than 3900.00 dollars in purchases, but because of an employee who was bothered by my presence in the store, I better deside. cancel my order it is not possible for them to pressure you in that way I do not recommend com to anyone. shop in that lombart store I'm still waiting for them to contact me

Overall, rude customer service. Sales rep lady feels like a stalker and later on blames it on the manager/supervisor claiming she also feels this way with them regarding customers placing orders. I understand it’s her job to try and convince clients about getting something for their home but the fact that this lady ACTIVELY made it a mission to upset us by even CALLING MY FATHER RUDE AND TELLING HIM IF HE WAS DONE SCOLDING HER like?????? I myself work in customer service but I have never nor do I plan on talking to a customer as if they were my father or sibling telling them to “go sign and then you can sit there until 9pm” like? EXCUSE MEEE? If this is all the supervisors fault please let the owners know they need to rehire and if it’s the sales rep lady just being uneducated on how to treat customers she should be sent back to training.

The salespeople do not have tact to give the customer space. They are on the client. They do not allow them to make their decisions alone, they are in a hurry to get the customer to sign the purchase... and they make bad jokes...

In this Room place chain store they have employees who are rude, and unprofessional to their clients, I felt rushed my FAMILY felt rushed and they overall made us feel unwanted in the store. An employee here told us that they weren’t paid enough here and were being “watched” by their supervisor to see if they could secure the sell on a living room we were hoping to buy. Another employee told us to “punch out” to see if we could get paid for staying as long as we did as we left defeated without buying anything. I found this very rude as if it was a bother to them how long we stayed. Although the employee meant it as a “joke” it was unprofessional and over rude. We also told an employee to cancel an order we had placed because we were still thinking about our options. They employee told us she had and we believed her, only to find out that she did NOT in fact to as we asked. She didn’t plan to tell us either. I was disappointed with this room place as I have been a client for over 10+ years and don’t plan on coming back unfortunately.

Buying process went well and salesman (Sadiq) was helpful. But they sent the wrong rails for my bed and had to replace my bed frame completely and the customer service here SUCKS. I was calling for 4 days and everyone happened to always be "out or busy" and the hotline had no plan of action to help me or any follow up. Sadiq called me a week later after my numerous attempts to reach them and told me to order a few frame and I went in picked a frame and they said it would be delivered that Tuesday. I call Monday (following up on my own again) for them to say there is no record of the purchase or delivery so we again had to pick it out and process the order all over again and it came late. I was living without a bed for a week in my new apartment. The quality of the products is fine but if you want to deal with their lack of any admin or customer service reps or skills, don't order from here. It was a headache for me and I felt like I was the only person fighting for myself and was gaslit about if things were ordered or who even handled my order so many times on the phone. They have no process or checklist and it's so frustrating to deal with it yourself.

Nice store. Went to look at patio furniture and they said they didn't get any this year. So we were a bit disappointed. The than that decent clearance center. Prices aren't to insane.

I recieved good coustomer service atLombard location. Sales Rep. Ms.Tanya Ameti and David O. Clearance manager and Nick sales manager. I recommend if you're looking for nice sale alone with warm greeting as you enter the store. I didn't feel the rush hovering feeling you get at some stores. Check them out especially Tayna she's kool.

DO NOT SHOP HERE - YOUR DELIVERY WILL NOT BE WHAT IS PROMISED. We shopped and purchased thousands of dollars of furniture on 2/10. Almost 2 months later and we have received 1/3 of the furniture ordered. The first delay in delivery was 2.5 weeks after the shipment date provided in store, so we did not complain. However, now The Room Place is telling us that most of the furniture will not be in stock or delivered until JUNE. They are selling customers merchandise and being PAID FOR THIS without fulfilling orders. Customer Care gives you NO OPTIONS - their response is "come pick something else out that is in stock". This is fraudulent behavior and we will be reporting them.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SHOPPING HERE!!!! Last year, we purchased a couch. There was a lady that was taking care of us, she was extremely helpful and was willing to "do whatever we needed to make sure we are happy".... DOES THAT INCLUDE LYING ON WHAT PROMOTIONAL PLAN SHE GIVES TO US JUST SO SHE CAN MAKE COMMISSION?? yup... When we financed the said couch, she CLEARLY stated that we will not be charged interest on this purchase. Come to find out a year later that is FAR from the case and the interest is just simply delayed and we got charged $1,000 in interest. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS!!!!

Place my order on 2/11 for a 2/23 delivery date. Received a call 2 days before to be told my order will be delivered on 3/13. Well, on 3/12, I did not receive a text or email with my delivery time, so I called. Was then told I had no scheduled delivery!!!!!..how do I not have a sceduled delivery!!!!!!...the rep 1st told me my dining set can be delivery 2/26 this is unacceptable. I have been without a dining table and chairs since 2/23. Once I told the rep I could've taken my money elsewhere if I would've known I would have these delivery issues. So now she offered a delivery of 3/15. If I do not receive my items on 3/15 , I will be shopping elsewhere. They have not offered a store credit, a partial refund, or anything. What kind of customer service is this??? Do they value their customers? I furnished my whole apartment with them so obviously I am loyal, but where is their loyalty? My next stop will be BBB!

Don’t order anything without asking how long furniture has been in back order. Apparently they know they have problems with their suppliers and they don’t disclose it to make the sale. We order furniture Black Friday. Delivery date was going to be in January which was ok we were in Mexico all December then I’m in Mexico and I start getting delayed messages. My delivery date was changed like 3x in January and Ofer times in February with delays pushing over until end march & then at the end of on our pieces was discontinued and our order was not fulfilled. My partner and I at that point decided to reselect. & I found this out because I called myself. So we been waiting forever with multiple delays. Not once did my sales rep offer anything from the roomplace for all the inconveniences. & when I asked my sales rep Linda to contact a manager & see if we can get some store credit or something she stopped replying. But she was very responsive when.i was emailing about reselecting and adding side tables. We are now getting the rest of our furniture & decor at Ashley’s due to no response & the lack for the roomplace and sales person to take care of your clients.Update: Then get a reply here below & I email for no response either. It’s all for show
