I cannot express how grateful we are for Cody at Shamrock Gardens Florist in Winfield! My daughter had a specific vision for chic floral arrangements, and Cody brought that vision to life—and then some. His creativity and skill in floral design are truly unmatched.
Working with Cody is always a pleasure; he’s incredibly attentive and makes the process enjoyable. I’m excited to see what he creates for my daughter’s wedding—it’s sure to be breathtaking!

e had the best experience working with Shamrock Gardens (we used the Winfield location). Cody was our main contact and he truly made our dream wedding vision come to life. From the first consultation, he helped us narrow down what we were looking for and what exactly our dream vision was. The day of execution was better than we ever imagined, we got so many compliments from family and friends (and even other vendors!) on how incredible all of our flowers were from the church setup, wedding party flowers, room centerpieces an decor, they truly did it all! I highly recommend using Shamrock Gardens for your wedding or event, you will not be disappointed!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Shamrock Garden Florist!! I worked with Ian Castillo for my wedding in July 2024 and had such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I knew Shamrock was the right florist for me from my first meeting with Ian at their Lombard flower shop. I brought some inspiration photos and felt so confident leaving the rest to him. He was very confident, knowledgable, and I could tell that he had great taste and a lot of experience under his belt. He also had all the flower vases, candlesticks, etc. in the shop for me to pick out. They have such a beautiful variety to choose from. On my wedding day I was absolutely blown away at the job they did. My flowers turned out gorgeous and I received countless compliments from my bridal party, family, and guests. They also were able to accommodate a last minute request the week of the wedding to add more flowers to my head table. If you want breathtaking flowers, do not hesitate to call Shamrock Garden Florist! They will not disappoint.

My wife and I were married on October 5th, and our reception venue was in contract with Shamrock to provide table flowers and other reception flowers. It was very helpful to meet with Shamrock to discuss what flowers the venue would pay for, and what would be extra and what we would have to cover. They were very honest about what flowers we should use based on the time of year we were getting married, and also providing alternatives that are in season.
The whole process felt very sales-y. The feeling we got was that the florist wanted us to pay $50-$100 more per table to get “upgraded” floral arrangements. We were considering upgrading the arrangements when my wife’s grandfather passed away. During this period, the florist kept contacting my wife saying that if we don’t put down a $100 deposit to do upgraded arrangements, they wouldn’t have the time to do them. This didn’t make sense because they were already making floral arrangements for us on our wedding day. We decided to put down the deposit just to be safe, and we didn’t have the time to think about it. Once we thought about it, we decided not to do upgraded florals. We asked Shamrock what to do with that $100, and they said we could use it to pay for the vases to take the flowers home. However, on our wedding day, the venue told us that the vases were rentals and therefore we could not take them home. We felt like we were scammed out of $100. The flowers were pretty, however we would rather not deal with all of that again.

Shamrock Gardens did such an amazing job bringing our vision alive! Both my husband and I were not super particular about flowers but I had an idea for my bouquet and they surpassed my expectations with all of our flowers. Our flowers were fresh and lasted through a hot day.

I loved working with Alexa and Shamrock Garden for my wedding. I gave them a color scheme and a budget and they crated something beautiful. They do require cash or check but that was doable. I loved the idea they had to put flowers in a basket for the flower girl. There was a bag with petals attached to the back of the basket. Everything looked amazing. I highly recommend them

I cannot say enough nice things about Shamrock! Ian did the weddings for my wedding and he was amazing and accommodating. He was so friendly and took all of my visions and brought them to life. If you are having ANY kind of party, hire Shamrock!

I cannot say enough positive things about Shamrock Floral and the experience I had working with them for my wedding. Alexa was super flexible and responsive throughout the whole process and happy to accommodate in every way. The team from shamrock communicated with my venue to coordinate delivery of flowers so that they were just there when I showed up, though they also would have delivered elsewhere if necessary. The quality and beauty greatly surpassed my expectations. I actually did not have a very clear idea of what the bouquets would look like prior to them showing up at the venue, trusting they’d look nice and they definitely delivered. Prior to selecting shamrock as our vendor, we did compare pricing at a few other places and they were comparable, if not more affordable. We ultimately went with Shamrock because they had recently sponsored the youth dance recital providing flowers and I was happy to support a business that supports the community. If you are considering shamrock, I would say absolutely go with them - they will make life much easier!

My wedding photos on 06:08.24 were absolutely amazing due tho the gorgeous bridal bouquet that they made for me! The owner gave me beautiful white flowers with black insides ( I don’t know the name of the particular flower) and that was a great choice!!! Thank you so much !

I just received flowers from Shamrock Garden as a gift this afternoon and they are truly STUNNING. Great texture, color, shape - when it was delivered, I gasped at how lovely the arrangement is. I'll certainly be ordering from them in the future!!
