Melanie SHOULD/NEEDS to be the main point of contact for anyone with a grievance or complaint, because I know she would be the one to not only fix it, but leave the customer happy knowing their belongings are in great hands.”
“We went there, not knowing what we were going to do, we were shown two examples of storage rooms. The manager was extremely nice and assisted us all the way through. Very very personable.”
“Barb was extremely helpful in getting me the correct discount rate and showing the units, she did a top notch job. The website provided bait and switch information, advertising one price then changing it as you got into the sign up process. The customer service people were completely useless and could answer none of my questions. My advice is to go to the actual location and talk to the staff, they know what they are doing”
“Clean, convenient (for the most part) and well-managed. Will was always a pleasure to work with and provides exceptional customer service (and has a great sense of humor). Safeguard Lombard was very accommodating to my specific needs and questions. They also have a very easy setup for loading and unloading.After a while, things degraded a bit in convenience. The side door, which was very close to my unit, began to stay locked even during posted "open" hours. It was a bit of a crapshoot that required me to go test to see if I'd be able to haul in or out that day, which was annoying. It was especially annoying when I needed to coordinate renting or borrowing a truck. Calling and asking about the issue didn't seem to help things.Beyond that, I had a positive experience at Safeguard and would recommend it to anyone looking for a storage solution.”
