Excellent experience at Mike’s More Miles, Lombard. Austin and his experienced team quickly diagnosed and fixed our complicated problem at a very reasonable cost.
Definitely our new “go to place” for our vehicles - for routine maintenance and complex problems.
They are experienced, friendly, competitively priced, and accommodating. Very happy with the service we got. Highly recommend.

DISHONEST, SHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL – DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE
The owner will lie, and upsell you at every chance he gets, and gets irate when you refuse.
I recently visited this shop for an oil change. I wanted to support a small local business so I was persistent even though the appointments were set a week out and I missed my first appointment with them. Nonetheless I was quoted $20 over the phone. When I arrived, the owner assumed I would be purchasing his oil along with the service. I asked how much it would be if I brought my own oil, and he said it would be $30. This was surprising since I had been told $20 over the phone. When I mentioned the $20 quote, he insisted the price was $30, claiming it was “policy.” It was clear at that point that he knew he’d been caught in a lie but refused to acknowledge it. ?First red flag. (This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to upsell me and got upset when I didn’t buy.)
Despite this, I agreed to the $30 price just to get the service done. I decided to take a walk around the premises to see what was nearby, and I quickly realized there was really nowhere for me to go. I ended up walking over to a car wash place, and by the time I was done, I returned to find a mechanic (who was the laborer) wrapping up the service.
While standing outside the garage, I was simply observing my car being worked on when the owner walked past me and snickered, “Make sure he’s really doing your oil change,” to belittle me. This was unprofessional, very rude, and uncalled for, but I chose to ignore it. ?Second red flag.
Seeing as I didn’t react, he then came directly up to me and asked why I was looking at my own car. I responded casually and politely, “I’m just looking at the underside of my car. It’s not related to the service or mistrusting you guys. I just want to watch. I’m just watching work.” Instead of letting it go, he got even more antsy and pressed me further, asking what I thought they’d do to sabotage the car… ?Third red flag.
At this point, I was genuinely confused and asked him, “Are you really asking me why I’m looking at my own car?” He got all tied up in knots over someone just looking at their own car during an oil change, which seemed completely unnecessary.
He couldn't handle my response, told me not to come back as he was throwing out trash, he evidently should've left his mind in there.
I’ve never in my entire life been questioned by any mechanic, or shop owner for simply watching my car being worked on, or any service I’ve had done. I remained outside the garage the entire time to be respectful of the workspace and safety hazards, so he was clearly just being difficult. I used to work in labor myself, and when people would watch me, I never told them not to. If he had politely asked me to sit inside, I would have done so. But his behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. The mechanic had no problem with it either. It was just an oil change. If he had such an issue with someone watching an oil change God knows what they do when the service is much larger.
I paid the mechanic for his labor and left. The owner is a liar, overtalks his customers, is rude and will talk behind your back to his mechanics. Do not trust him. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to pay for things you don't need.
Look at all my reviews. I rarely give people one star or go out of my way to write one. I have no problem showing my face either. The owner has issues and so will your car if you leave it here.

Mike and the team found coolant leaks I couldn't find, and then replaced the hoses and flushed the coolant in 1 day. No coolant leaks since. I'm very satisfied!

These ASE, and Master Technicians are always on Q! We service both of our vehicles here and have done so for years. Great service and FAST turn around compared to the dealership. The rates and so on are much more cost effective. Thank you fine fellows at Mike’s More Miles!

I brought my car here on a recommendation of another mechanic. They were wonderful, they treated my brother really well while he waited for them to repair the AC compressor.
