I was having a hard time with my portal scanner, even called Epson customer service was on the phone for over an hour and they told me my scanner was out of warranty couldn't fix. Found Focus technologies service online and the lady that answer the phone was amazing helped me in figure out the problem in less then 10 min. I am so happy I found this amazing place, highly recommend to anyone with scanner, printers & projector problems. She was very frieendly, professional and knowledgeable. :)

She had me drive 30 minutes to not answer the phone and when she did answer the phone after calling repeatedly, she informed me to walk to the garage. She never came out or anything.I stood in the driveway, waiting for her to come out, never happened! I called her 5 to 6 times when I was outside and she stopped answering. I am an African American woman, we don't just walk up to people homes nor their garages. It was giving its not safe vibes. I would not recommend. She called me back 30 minutes later saying, "hi, you called?" As if she hadn't spoke to me on the phone and stop answering. I did not feel safe walking up to a random person's garage nor did I appreciate her stop answering the phone when she told me to come. It was an inconvenience and she wasted my time.

Thank you, Cheryl!! Cheryl is a tech genius with printers. I had checked with a warranty program and explained the problem that I was having with my fairly new Epson ET-5800. Their answer was for me to box up this gigantic printer and ship it to them. No Way!! So, I contacted another very reputable computer/printer repair company and explained the problem to them. They assumed a technician needed to come to my home to fix the printer. FINALLY, I CALLED CHERYL after locating her thru Google search. I read the reviews and called and spoke to Cheryl and repeated what was happening with my printer.. This phenomenal tech savvy lady told me what the problem was in less than 5 minutes and told me how to resolve it. It was so simple that I almost didn't believe Cheryl. And, then she explained how the printer reads paper as it's creating the image when it goes thru the feeder. I was convinced that she knew her stuff!! It took me 2 minute to resolve my printer problem by following Cheryl's instructions. I told Cheryl that she will be blessed because she could have told me to bring my printer to her and charged me but she did not. Cheryl is the BEST!! I wish I could giver her a 10 Star rating.

I brought in an Epson Stylus CX8400 from 2008 that no longer printed color. I had just about thrown in the towel when I found Cheryl's business and brought it in for a consultation. After Cheryl looked over the printer, she diagnosed the issue within a few minutes. I highly recommend Focus Technology Services to repair printers, scanners, or projectors. Aside from being very knowledgeable and quick in repairing, Cheryl is a kind-hearted and easy-going individual with a clear passion for what she does.

I had brought my Epson XP-810 to Cheryl a few years back at the old location. I had initially taken it to my local repair shop that is an HP repair shop and I don't think they knew what to do with an inkpad replacement (they weren't able to reset the electronic counter right, since it went off again shortly after). Cheryl checked the inkjet pad but more importantly tried to see if the main black lines for the printer could be revived after they were probably clogged with using unreliable black pigment ink. She was informed in talking about the printer which encouraged me to pickup another one used and stop using bulk black pigment ink in a refillable cartridge (but I still do with dye ink for the colors and photo black.)

She was responding professionally both over the phone and in person. Her intentions were to solve the problem with no or very low cost. She spent 30-45 mts on diagnosis and charged nothing as it required only a bulb replacement. Also she spent time to share tips on how to maintain and get more hours on the projector. Awesome human being- very much customer oriented.

Such amazing service, I got my printer back within one day. Very nice lady, she fixed it but also told me what she fixed and what was causing the problem. I love services like that. Highly recommend for printer issues.

These people are Epson geniuses! Bought an XP-410 off of Craigslist that not surprisingly wasn't printing great. Cheryl took me through the steps over the phone and after about 20 minutes of trial and error, the thing was printing like brand new. So knowledgable and really nice of them to help me out over the phone rather than make me drive out there and charge me for a tune-up.

She couldn't fix the feeding sensor to my ET-4550 Let alone she didn't know how to take the bracket off to get to the sensor thought I going to quality service mediocre ...just best to go buy a new one after warranty ends..

I called with the intention of making an appointment to bring in my misbehaving Epson R-2000 printer. The woman at Focus Technologies asked that I first go through a couple of diagnostic and quick-fix steps. In about ten minutes on the phone with her the problem was resolved. No trip to Oakbrook Terrace required.
