Had a problem with the ATM. The ATM said go inside and hand this to the banker. Banker said nothing he can do and call a number and tell them the ATM code. I called twice. Only to be told THIS WAS A BANKER ONLY NUMBER NOT A CUSTOMER... I called them confused and upset and I got the rudest person (who didn't wanna be disturbed) tell me to call the correct number. Honestly this isn't okay. I get we are all human but I am taking my money elsewhere from now on..

We went into the bank for an issue we had pertaining to a debit on our account that appeared to be fraudulent. This issue was reported through the phone several days before, however an issue arose that made the situation a little more confusing to us. So, we went into the Lombard location and asked to speak to a personal banker. The teller told us she was a personal banker. So, we stood at the counter and explained the situation expecting to get some help and some clarification. When I heard the teller say, "what you have to do is call our dispute department ..." I knew we were not going to get any assistance. We went into the back to get help and the only help we got was a phone number to call. Obviously just wanted to get rid of us. Terrible service!

Latasha B. was absolutely wonderful! Went to the nearest bank to help me with an address change and verification of an account with 53 bank. I needed the info for the secretary of state and she understood what I was going through. We talked about various things and really connected. Smiles, friendliness and laughter! Thank you for everything Latasha!

I went to the Lombard branch because of fraudulent activity on my card and Kenneth the banker I spoke with did absolutely nothing! Said that I had to wait 24 hours and then he would give me a number to call, I’ve never in my life been so dissatisfied with the service I received! I will be canceling all 3 accounts I have with them and I will be filing a report specific to KENNETH! Absolute joke

I opened a business checking account and was told that all I needed to do was to open a credit card and the monthly fee would be waived. I was told by the banker I needed to wait 90 days before I could open an account, but all I had to do is open the credit card and I would not be charged a fee. I went to sign up for the credit card and was told the card was not available by another banker. I was then told that the credit card was not available all through COVID and if it was I would need to do $500 worth of transactions a month to have the fee on the checking account be waived. If I had known either of those things, I would not have opened an account there. Now I have to waste time finding a new account for my business and writing this review. The only reason this is not 1 star is because the second banker refunded the monthly fees I had been charged.

This morning I went into Lombard, IL Fifth Third Bank. I've been banking here for over twenty years. I attempted to print statements at home but due to the fact that on line statements only go back to 2 years. When I spoke with Ann the teller and told her that I needed the statements she told me that it would be a fee. I asked Ann, How much of a fee would it be? I informed Ann that I've never had to pay a fee for anything. Ann stated that she didn't know how much of a fee it would be to print the statements. I looked at her and said please find out. Ann stated, "Well that's our policy." Ann came back and said, "It will be $100.00 an hour to print up a statement." After I repeated the price, Ann did stated, "oh $90.00 an hour. When I asked to speak to the branch manager, Ann stated that the manager was busy and on the phone. Never in my life have I ever heard such an astronomical fee to print a credit card statement and the arbitrary numbers that Ann randomly pulled from somewhere. Horrible service, will be closing all of my accounts.

I usually deposit cash at their drive thru ATM with no issues, but when they recently changed their ATM to a new and updated one, I went to deposit $40 in cash into my Access 360 card, and the ATM gave me a prompt saying "we're sorry, no cash was detected" and gave me two options of 'no more deposit' or 'more deposit.' I pressed no more deposit and the machine just returned my card back - no receipt so I have no records of this incident happening. On the second try to see if my cash is still there, I repeated the cash deposit again, but when I looked, the cash is gone and the machine did receive. To fifth third bank local bankers, has this happened to you recently? And just my luck it's Sunday and the bank is closed, and customer service is closed.
