We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Carlisle in November of 2023. As most people, we looked at multiple venues to select the best one for our special day. After visiting several locations, we went to The Carlisle and from the moment we entered we knew this was the one. The Carlisle is very elegant with a lot of mirrors and crystal chandeliers and after meeting with the event planner we were sold. Laura Papa was welcoming, professional and explained everything clearly. She answered all our questions with great detail and made suggestions, but never tried to upsell us. We had found the perfect place for our wedding! Every time we met with Laura, we became more sure that the Carlisle was superior to all other venues. My husband to be, wanted the evening to be magical for me and magical it was! Laura and the staff at the Carlisle were phenomenal. They listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. We highly recommend The Carlisle to anyone looking for an elegant, well-run establishment to host any event. There are many venues to choose from in the Chicagoland area ,but if you are looking for a perfect experience, The Carlisle is the best choice hands down.

I was at a workplace Christmas party and a wedding recently, and organized two business expos here about 15 years ago. They are just excellent people to work with The food is excellent, and they are extremely accommodating..

The Carlisle event spaceWhat a lovely space!I attended a fund raiser/fashion show/luncheon one Sunday and had a wonderful time!The event space is so large that several events are able to be in same location.Plenty of parkingBeautiful spaceCoat check staff was friendlyNice barEvent space decor was amazingWait staff was helpful and patientFood service extremely organized. My vegetarian lasagna was great!Great space for your special event.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Valet parking available and self parking behind the building. Delicious food and great servers. We were there for a wedding and it was truly awesome from beginning to end.

Beautiful venue inside! Outside there is a small garden-like area with a decorative Gazebo-like structure. It was great for photos at the 50th Anniversary Celebration I photographed here. Outside of that garden/patio, other photo locations are definitely a drive away. It would be tough to get bridal party photos or any large group photos outside due to the restricted size of the garden. BUT it is a gorgeous venue. Just plan on traveling to another photo location for your wedding in addition to the photos you take at the venue itself.

I attended a wedding yesterday 9/1 and this place is dreadful! Brides beware the rooms are not sound proof as you would expect. We literally was listening to the Casper slide while we were watching our couple say their vows. Just horrible. Food terrible. If I could give this place a negative star I would.

We could not be happier with how our wedding reception turned out! Laura was AMAZING to work with. She was so helpful in giving us feedback when we were making decisions. We got so many compliments about the food, service, and bartenders and the whole evening just went so well, all thanks to Laura. Highly highly recommend!
