I was very happy with the results of my hair and makeup on my wedding day, but I have to take off a star because it took a lot of effort to get to that point. I liked BBA's transparent website, responsiveness via email, and the example photos they sent. I live in Wisconsin and was getting married in Chicago, so they were pretty easy to work with remotely which I also liked. I had my first bridal trial and the girl who did my hair was not listening to what I wanted at all and the one who did my makeup really tried but she struggled to give me the natural look I was going for. I redid the trial with two new stylists and it went much better the second time - perfection! The makeup was replicated perfectly on my wedding day but the hair stylist did something totally different than what we did in the trial (a poof on top instead of twists) and so I had to course correct that mistake on my wedding day... Also they apparently hadn't planned a second hair stylist for seven women until I asked them about it, and the only one available was the gal who I did not like the first time around. She showed up late and she totally botched one of my bridesmaid's hair so that another bridesmaid ended up redoing it and we got a refund for that. So, all in all, not a perfect experience but they DID take action multiple times to resolve any unhappiness and make it right, so they get points back for that.

Don't bother. Darlinns seems to have thrown in the proverbial towel. Their storefront location is vacant and for rent.

Don't waste your time......I connected with Krystal through Thumbtack about hair and make-up for my wedding day, which I told her the date from the start. After numerous communications back and forth I agreed to the fees and set a trial appointment as well as the time for my wedding day. Two days later, I get an e-mail from Krystal saying she had just been informed that both of the stylists she had committed were going to be out of town for the holiday....I would have thought she would know her staff's schedule before you commit to appointments. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
