They redid the whole cashier section taking out the belt to put your items on , now you have to fiddle around and try to maneuver your stuff as it falls out of your hands all the while they have 3 stations and only ever seen 1 open with lines of people . What a joke

This dollar general is a joke. They are always closed early by 3 or 4 hours. They need to update their business hours if they aren’t going to stay open until the time that is on there door. Showed up at 4:50 and was told they were closing for the day on a Saturday. This has happened at least 5-6 times in the last couple months, before and after this remodeling.

Store was clean and most of the staff is friendly.The self check out doesn't work well with the coupons. I had to go to the cashier who was on a phone call having a whole other conversation ?.The store had a BOGO on a lawn item and when I asked about it if it was taking off, she said I would have to pay and see. It seemed like I was inconvenience her and I felt bad so I just payed and left.Again the other staff that was in the store was great, store is clean and organized; but the embarrassment I felt at checkout for using the DG App coupons is enough to make me no go back.

Please don’t allow employers to smoke right by the front door in lawn chairs that are for sale. Have a designated smoking area in the back.
