Great doctor but $70 dollars for a 2 minute follow-up appointment coming off a $350 dollar exam a week before. I understand you have to pay for a doctor's time but they know there is nothing you can do about it as soon as they give you the bill. Again, I understand a doctor's time but when the follow up exam only took a few minutes and nothing needed to be done, it should be a low fee.

Dr Navin is the best of the best! His specialty is English Bulldogs and has hundreds in his practice.

My Newfie has seen the dermatology vet, Dr. Simpson . We have had great results. She is allergic to all grasses, multiple trees and weeds. His explanations are very clear. I was given different options on medical treatments. He spent sufficient time in the room and is very thorough. His vet technician Lena spent time with us also explaining the injections and other meds and their applications. They have very little wait time with an appointment. It's very well run.

Had an emergency with my senior dog who was having breathing issues and it was emergent. Monday at around noon I called to get him in because it was an emergency. They told me nothing was available until Wednesday. I stressed that it was an emergency and they sent me to a emergency vet 25 min away. Once there it was a situation where I had to put my dog down. It cost me over $500 for euthanasia. I will never go back to all pets after this. I was a ten year customer.

My first visit here was because they had the soonest opening to see my pup who had a broken nail, but I'm so grateful I ended up coming here. I now take my two girls here regularly for their visits and they are always so well taken care of, no matter which vet we see. I'm always confident in their care and treatment plans and appreciate the staff's attention to the small details. The techs, vets, and staff are always so friendly in addition to highly knowledgeable and would recommend this animal hospital to anyone who needs!

I hate to go with one star as I know all companies and businesses make mistakes and errors. When companies make errors, as long as they do their best to make an effort to correct it, I believe most people are happy with the effort of the company that they have chosen. However, after my experience this morning, I can't give anything but one star. We've been taking our dog Max for daycare here since the he was born. He's almost a year and a half old and it's great that VCA is in Lockport. (Please note that this has nothing to do with the animal hospital or doctors there.) As for the daycare, the door says if you're going to be there after 9:30 to call them and they will send someone to the front door to let him in. The front door remains open until 9:30 AM when they send someone out to lock it. I was going to be a few minutes late so I called them at 9:29 and said I'm on my way and I'll be there at 9:35. I was at the parking lot at 9:36. First of all, to set a mandate with what time a dog has to be there to me has always seems a bit odd. Everyone's schedules are different and everyone has different work hours. For instance, tonight, I work till 8:30 PM. so on days that I work late I always try to get Max there right at 9:30. Second, when I talk to the first lady, she said that they had become more stringent on their policy and then if the dogs weren't there by 9:30 they would not be admitted. I informed her that the door says differently, and she said OK let me get a manager. I spoke to the manager who I think was Bridget and she said that they changed the policy and their staff wasn't able to open the door anymore for people arriving after 9:30. The front door is 20 feet from where they greet you for daycare. I said, can we please make an exception because I have work meetings that I have to be at and she said "Sorry, we can't do that." I asked one more time saying "We've been bringing Max there since the day he was born once to twice a week. Can you please make an exception since your sign says differently."And she still told me no. I then told her that it seemed ridiculous that they can't walk to the door and let him in and then if they don't let him in they would be losing a customer from here on out. She said I'm sorry, but we cannot let him in. On a side note, we also take Max to Camp Bow Wow (way less frequently...maybe once a month). Every time we walk in the door, they say "Hey Max!!!!!! And immediately come over an play with him. When we drop Max off at VCA, it almost seems as if they don't know him and they aren't excited. If it weren't for today's issue, I wouldn't mention it because we are getting the services we are paying for. However, while other daycare places go above and beyond. Their daily rate is $32.50 for full day. However it is advertised on their website as $24 for full day. Camp Bow Wow is an additional $4.50 compared to what we actually pay, however we can see our dog all day long and see how much fun he is having. Camp Bow Wow's staff are always engaged with the dogs and love to be by them. I simply do not get that vibe from the staff at VCA. It seems like a chore that they have to work there. (There is one girl there who is pleasant and she should not be thrown into this mix. She is kind to the people that walk in, knows who max is, and spends time with the dogs. They need more of her.) I hate to take business away from a local small business, but costumer service needs to improve. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

This place is a joke. Seriously, a complete joke. I can go into details, but nobody has time to read that. They make you seem like your pet needs surgery, and you will need to spend over $16,000. They don't even look to see what the pets condition might be. I saw one man who was screaming at the doctors because he was told his dog needed and X-ray. He screamed that he was told this for 7 hours. He literally just asked for his dog back. Trust me, the second you take your pet there, you are held hostage. You can only get your pet back if you pay thousands of dollars. Even after you do that, you have to wait hours to see your pet again. I will never go back to pay thousand of dollars in order to receive your pet, when literally, they provide zero answers. If you love your pet, I beg you to PLEASE not bring them here.

Management needs to take a SERIOUS look at the receptionist staff. What a nightmare to have to deal with. When you answer the phone, use your customer service voice. I had a snotty woman barking on the phone to me regarding a screw up on their end. I calmly tried to relay the correct info and she proceeded to play the let me complete your sentence game. What an ugly attitude! My advice, close the mouth and listen to the customer who actually has the information. As an animal hospital you would think that the staff would understand that your pet is a member of your family. But that is not the case. Due to COVID you cannot go in with your pet. Which is understandable. However, I'm sure anyone would agree communication while your pet is inside must be kept. Good luck reaching someone once your baby goes inside. The staff will not answer. The only call you will get is 1 call from the vet and then 1 from the staff once ready to bill you. Very quick to take payment, but will NOT assist you other than that. Another uneasy feeling is having a vet you didn't book an appointment with call you with all the wrong info regarding shots for your pup. Then proceed to try to make you get your pups shots they currently do not need. The whole conversation with Dr Little was scrambled and unprofessional. He then hung up the phone seeming unsure about what my pup needed. I proceeded to call back to see what shots my pup was going to receive, THE STAFF NEVER ANSWERED. But once that payment was ready to be taken they called back. The original shots my pup needed were not all mentioned, so I explained. I was put on hold for a good amount of time and when they returned to speak with me they said okay all good. Then presented a new charge amount.....HOW UNCOMFORTABLE!!! So did you give my pup the wrong shots??? Did you give him what he actually needed??? Nobody knows and how would I know since I'm not with my puppy. We also paid for a nail clipping , my puppy's nails were not trimmed. We will definitely be taking our pup elsewhere. Never again!
