“We were on a long road trip and had stayed overnight in Litchfield, largely because that's where we were after a long day of driving. After a good night's rest, we were pleased to find that this Walmart was nearby because it allowed us to stock up on some provisions for the next leg of our journey. In addition to some groceries (deli meat, cheese, corn on the cob, etc.), we also found that they had an excellent selection of items for our upcoming camping and backpacking adventure -- including lightweight but hearty freeze-dried meals such as lasagna, beef stroganoff, and chicken fried rice (that were surprisingly tasty but expensive), a water carrier for the campground picnic table, and bamboo skewers for roasting marshmallows around the fire! We found everyone that we had come in for, and more!Parking was plentiful and free. Staff were pleasant. The check-out line in the morning was short. Finally, the location was close to a gas station so we could fill up before continuing on our journey north.”
