“Nice food selection. Some of the hot food was cold but I blame that on inconsiderate customers who don't close the warming trays after retrieving their portions. The serving staff was very attentive and prompt with serving us.”

“Unexpectedly fantastic! The amount of knowledge the folks at the desk have to offer is phenomenal. The exhibits are so well done. Plenty of interactive so you're not just reading info. Will absolutely be back!”

“We had a beautiful baby shower for our daughter! This space is so bright and gorgeous. They have several decor items to help complete the look you’re hoping for. The sitting area is perfect for gift opening and was such a cute photo backdrop. The owner and staff are incredible. Cannot recommend That Girl & Co. more!! Thank you Massiel!”
7AM - 7PM
617 N York St, Elmhurst“If you need to get out the house and work elsewhere this is the place to go!! Their drinks are strong and tasty and they have seasonal drinks as well! What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! It's just a nice industrial space that anyone would like to hang out at!!”
“What a great time for my Grandson’s birthday! He turned 5 and loved it. They couldn’t have been nicer to all of the family who also enjoyed it too. Aunts, Uncles, cousins and of course Grandmas and Grandpa.”
“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Carlisle in November of 2023. As most people, we looked at multiple venues to select the best one for our special day. After visiting several locations, we went to The Carlisle and from the moment we entered we knew this was the one. The Carlisle is very elegant with a lot of mirrors and crystal chandeliers and after meeting with the event planner we were sold. Laura Papa was welcoming, professional and explained everything clearly. She answered all our questions with great detail and made suggestions, but never tried to upsell us. We had found the perfect place for our wedding! Every time we met with Laura, we became more sure that the Carlisle was superior to all other venues. My husband to be, wanted the evening to be magical for me and magical it was! Laura and the staff at the Carlisle were phenomenal. They listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. We highly recommend The Carlisle to anyone looking for an elegant, well-run establishment to host any event. There are many venues to choose from in the Chicagoland area ,but if you are looking for a perfect experience, The Carlisle is the best choice hands down.”
“Fantastic experience all the way through! On our first visit we met with Jill, and she was very friendly and informative, give us all of the information we needed without being pushy. Then, once we booked the venue, we met with Nikilett who was absolutely phenomenal. Very friendly and great attention to detail. Also very easy to communicate with and willing to go out of her way in order to help in any way she could. In fact, I reached out to Nikilett several weeks before the wedding letting her know that I wanted to add onion rings to the late night snack menu but I didn't want my wife to know and I wanted it to be a surprise (making home-made onion rings was one of our first dates). Not only did she gladly agree to keep the secret, she even went as far as to create a separate bill so that might wife didn't see it during their final walk through! This wasn't even my idea! As far as the rest of the venue goes, we couldn't be happier. It started during our tasting, which was a fantastic experience and much more extravagant than we were expecting. They really went out of their way to make sure we were having a great experience. The day before the wedding I headed up to the venue to hit the driving range with my groomsmen. On our way out we checked the set-up and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had everything set up and ready to go. We also very much liked that they told us we had up until a couple hours before the ceremony to decide if we wanted move everything inside. This helped ease some of the nerves knowing that we could wait to see what the weather actually was before having to make a decision. And finally, guests had a really nice time out on the balcony. It was a great spot for people to get some fresh air and take a break from the festivities without having to go out and stand in front of the building. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience. The venue was just what we were looking for in terms of looks, but what really sets it apart is the team. From start to finish we had an absolutely tremendous experience with Jill, Nikilett, and the entire staff. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better team more willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have a special day. Bolingbrook Golf Club comes highly recommended in my opinion if you want a nice venue and a great staff. Oh, and I almost forgot, the groom's suite was a nice touch and came in handy before, during and after the festivities!”
“I've been a proud Member of NCC for 32+ years. Our golf course was renovated 2005-07 and is always in perfect playing condition. Our clubhouse and dining facilities were expanded and modernized in 2021 and our food and staff have never been better. Although we've had a waiting list for several years, NCC is the best value in the western suburbs and Member opportunities are available. Please direct any questions and interest to Atusa Freyer at the Club.”
“Booked a reservation here recently as a first time visitor on a busy holiday. Very easy to make the reservation and check-in upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of attention and service from the staff at this location. Kenny and Kaylee, specifically! Thanks to them, my group and I had a wonderful night. Clean location, well-organized lanes and building. Highly recommended!”
“In June 2024 I hosted a baby shower for my daughter at the VFW hall and I can’t say enough great things about the hall and the staff. The venue was clean and organized and the staff were wonderful! Have your party here, you won’t be disappointed!”

They also sell booze you can bring home with you, so if you're only wanting to grab just one obligatory drink with friends then maybe a sixer to bring home to share with your partner or self or friends, whatever - they've got you covered! They have outdoor spots as well and the music is right up our alley, so there's really nothing negative I could come up with.”

“I attended a special event at the Mansion with Geoffrey Baer for WTTW. The place is very cool. Some of the rooms have been restored to their original furnishings and some are bare. The library, chapel, and hidden staircase are highlights of the mansion. The weather was not good for outdoor activities on the day of my visit, but the grounds are nice and would make a great place for a walk on a nice day.”
“Lovely decor and ambience, the Meg Room is a place to gather for a cocktail and socialize. I attended the Marche' Blu music showcase and it was a hit. Ample space and free parking at this location. The food service was on point with our attentive and polite server. We only ordered drinks and a plate of French fries with aioli sauce for dipping. The other items on the menu did not appeal to my interest, so I didn't give it a try. However, I observed many others enjoying their menu selections during the evening. I would like to see falafel, hummus and naan bread added to the menu as an appetizer. Maybe a combination appetizer with Satay, Chicken kebobs or skewers or a little more variety.”
“We recently hosted our Son's 4th birthday party at BIG and it was a huge hit! We had 30 kids under the age of 8 and the staff was so accommodating to all ages! So many parents said it was one of the best birthday party venues they have been to and that after, their kids asked to have their party there too. We will definitely be back!”

“Everything with this stay was great. The reason for the 4/5 review is this property needs some serious renovations. Expectily the rooms. Redo the furniture, the bathrooms, and paint the walls and it would look very nice. The elevators were a bit sketchy at some times. One of them had a leveling issue on the 10th floor and had a 1" difference from the elevator car to the floor, this is a major safety issue. Other than that my stay was very nice and I would stay here again.
Rooms: Rooms are in need of renovations.
Safety: Watch when you board the elevators. Some have a drop from the elevator car and the floor.”
