I am a retired hairdresser who always cut my son’s hair (he is 17). I am not up on the latest styles so I took him here. He saw Cece and she was great! Showed her a pic of what he was looking for and she did exactly that! We will definitely be coming back to see her!

I have been here maybe 10 times because it is so close to my house but I can't do it anymore. Every hairdresser treats water like it's a precious commodity and it always results in the most uneven hair cut.

If there is a 0 star.... I would give it to this place... the ladies working here are very rude. It's always their way or no way. I went there to get my son a haircut and I wasn't happy with how it was done. When I told them how I wanted it to be... the lady was like" this is the best I could do. If you want a real service, go to a barber". Worst ever experience at great clips...

This is usually my go to for getting haircuts for $20. The ladies cut my hair fast and it usually looks great. It can be one of the popular locations since it’s on a busy street. Parking is spacious but it can be a pain getting out of that area. On one side you mostly get a constant flow of traffic going right (Maple). On the other side by Jewel (Rt-53), you have to wait a while if you want to turn left. I try to go in the early morning or early afternoon on a weekday.

I went to Great Clips on 1038 Maple Ave Lisle IL 60532 on 02/10/2024 at around 8:30am. The woman with long colored brown hair did my hair, she cut my hair was not even, when I explained if she can make left side shorter, she was not willing to do, she found two excuses to not spend another 3-5 minutes to do this job right. Finally when she agreed to do it, she was getting mad to cut big chunk away, without checking or observing how much needed to cut, she picked up scissors cut at least 3/4 inch from the left side, and start randomly picked up truck to cut. I am pretty sure she was not happy for my request, and not happy for her job, not happy for whatever she got paid, she punished my hair by destroying. As a person along, he is a BAD person. I left the store without paying, I talked with the store manager and explained my experience, She said she would to check. Then I received a woman named Sandra Prohammer called me, she claimed she is the owner, she threaten me to report police as I received service without paying, is thief. I am waiting police to come to check out. When I arrived at home, my husband was fricking out by what they did my hair, he started calling the owner's phone, and left message, she did not call back instead text back in about hours, said she would consult with her husband to handle this. Then she text back after hours again to ask for photo, we sent her photos. Without other response but saying we should go to other place to cut my hair in future. I am astonished by the quality level of the owner Sandra Prohammer to manage her customer service, it is looks like a joke. I am going to find anyway to post my haircut experience from this place.

I wasn't sure about my first time, so l did get my appointment. I got DELIA taking care of me. Wow! She really surprises me. She was so good with her job and her sugestions about my hair transplant. She really knows about beauty industry, not just a hair stylist. I got my second appointment today, of course l asked for DELIA, so happy about that. Just wanted to say thanks to Delia! you are awesome!

We came in with my son to get him a quick buzz 10 mins to close and were denied service. The cut probably would take 10 min max. Firstly, who closes at 6pm? Secondly, if the doors are not locked, we should be able to get service. I work for an optical shop, we close at 7pm, If someone comes 5min to 7 with the broken glasses and asks for a repair, I know it's going to take more than 5min, I'll take care of the customer and lock the doors, just so no one else comes in. That is how it's done, am I wrong? And btw, we are very good tippers.

My stylist didn't seem to understand anything I said, and couldn't locate stylist notes from another salon. I ended up with a perfectly even buzz cut, which is okay, but was meant to use two different clipper lengths. The other stylist seemed much smarter. There are many other locations to choose, you should go to one of those instead.
