Pottery and glass glasses for all skill levels! I started taking pottery wheel classes in 2020 with minimal experience and got hooked! ClaySpace offers a creative break from the daily grind. I am constantly inspired by the instructors, students, and resident artists. Sign up for a class, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a great studio! They offer a wide variety of classes from wheel throwing to handbuilding and sculpture as well as one time workshops plus fused glass classes. The teachers are great and it’s a large clean space! They have a small gallery where their resident artists display their work. They also host an annual Raku Fest fundraiser in October that’s a blast!

I found this studio 3 years ago and took a few classes before putting my name on the waiting list to join this volunteer run, not for profit, studio. I've had three different instructors - all were knowledgeable, patient, and willing to share their time and talents with students.
I've now worked my way up the rather long waiting list and am able to access the studio on my own time/schedule. Everyone I've come in contact with has been helpful and friendly. As this is a non-profit, the class prices, cost of clay (or glass for the glass classes) is lower than surrounding areas. As a non-profit, everyone is expected to pitch in in some way with service hours - which is also a great way to meet other artists.
There are several electric kilns as well as a large gas kiln and a soda kiln. There have also been special firings of the raku kiln. The gallery is a great place to pick up a special one of a kind gift at reasonable prices. Each month another artist is featured in the gallery - so visit often and find that special gift for someone!

I started as a student and became a member in 2016. This is a great place to take a class and experience all the joys and frustrations of pottery. The studio is full of so many talented and creative people. No matter your level of experience, you'll find a place.

"I absolutely love attending this ceramic arts center! The energy here is unmatched – from the vibrant community to the passionate instructors, it's a place that truly inspires creativity. Every time I walk in the door, the Clayspace community brings something new to learn, and the people are always welcoming and supportive. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, you'll find endless opportunities to grow and express yourself. The center has become a favorite retreat where I not only hone my skills but also connect with an amazing group of people. Highly recommend!"

I first discovered ClaySpace in 2017 as a student taking classes for a few years and have since become a Resident Artist. This is definitely my go to happy place! We have a thriving, top-notch studio that offers many classes and opportunities to learn and grow. I highly encourage anyone who is interested in pottery to come out for a visit and sign up for a class. We have a great facility and teachers to fit every need!
