The phone customer service is awful for Verizon. After being on the phone at home for hours on three separate occasions, I walked into the Verizon store ready switch to another carrier. Eli was very calm and helpful. He was able to get me the credit for mailing back my old phone within minutes. He also helped me choose an updated plan and decrease my monthly amount by removing services that I never used and using online banking, something no one else ever discussed with me. Thank you Eli for de-escalating my issues with customer service. This store is superior to any others.

Eli is the ultimate best individual I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I’ve purchased many cell phones and have had accounts with several providers but Eli was so attentive and empathetic to my needs and concerns that he straight up prevented me from switching to T Mobile today….I came to the store with the intention of returning a phone and saying goodbye. I will encourage friends and family to see Eli at this store specially and adamantly. Thank you Verizon for finally hiring a person who treated me like a friend and appreciated my time and concerns.

Eli at this store was absolutely AMAZING. I came in after hours and hours on the phone with customer service(worst experience) I was just about ready to switch to T-Mobile. Customer service was trying to charge me for a service extender almost $300 after customer service telling me it would be free of charge. Eli was at the Verizon store and was able to help me speak with customer service for 1.5 hours! He was so patient with me and helping me figure out how to talk to customer service. He took time out of his day to genuinely help me out. Other customers were coming in to purchase plans and phones and Eli sat there with me for nearly 2 hours to help figure out a solution to Verizon’s awful customer service issues on my account. I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to come to this store and visit Eli for all their needs. 5 star experience with this very polite and helpful Verizon representative at this store.

Worst customer support ever, do not even care about spending time with customer. I went there to upgrade our phone. I am the first one and only customer in the morning. No busy at all , so i told them about my plan . First it was a lady , within minutes another staff came in between and no name tag just telling you have to check it online. Store can’t do anything. I know I can do it online, but I prefer to do it thru store support. But I don’t know what he meant showing that attitude. Atleast there is a way talking to customer, like try to do between if you need any help i will be here. Leave that part still I went him asking something about my trade in offer , I didn’t figure it out how much i am getting for my old device. I believe a verizon staff should know looking at their online forms how much we are getting, instead he told me you are getting 100 plus some figures. So I asked him is that only 100 ? He said, yes because you are on some cheaper plans, so you get that much. Com’n i am paying 370 dollar bill per month , it might be cheaper for him not for me. But that was he read the form wrong , i got 1000 plus trade in offer. After that what ever we ask, he is like u have your phone u can read it , you can understand, why you need help? Good staff support you have at store ???????? this is the first time i leave a comment on line. Also it happened in the morning, it ruined my day. Please keep everything online, close the store. Because all customer will soon learn how to do stuff online. Thanks ??

This Verizon has the worst customer service and I see that in the majority of the reviews the reps are described month by month as discriminatory and non attentive and that is VERY true I came in to get two new lines of services and was immediately told that my odds for approval were going to be low and that I should buy my phones from Best Buy

Giving 5 star only because of Vittorio. Not a Verizon customer perse, but a POA for one of their customers. Leaving this review solely for all the employers out there , who are looking for a professional with excellent customer service, good energy, empathy, and professionalism executed on high level, I can see him being excellent with sales too - that’s Vittorio!! If you are looking for someone with those qualities to add to your team, and those are rare to find these days, as you know, that’s your guy !!!! Vittorio ! What a wonderful modern facility. Great displays lighting and organization. The staff are dedicated and committed to magnificent customer service. I am very grateful for the self payment machine it is very easy to operate and the staff will always assist if you need help. The location is very accessible and the parking lot is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of lights and handicapped slots. Verizon is the finest venue for mobile telephone service and products. Attend!!!

I can only give you 2 stars because you are Verizon which by default makes you suck a**. However it didn't take you three hours to return my modem and I've only been overcharged by one month so 2 stars for your EXTRAORDINARY effort not to suck in the face of a company that ARE TYPICALLY OF THE AMERICAN COMPANIES THAT SEEK TO EXPLOIT CONSUMERS AT EVERY LOOPHOLE.

It took an entire month to convert to a new iPhone, changing from Xfinity to Verizon service. There were endless problems and relentless poor customer service (from Xfinity) until I was lucky enough to receive assistance from Drew at the Lincolnwood store on Touhy. He was knowledgeable, patient and very pleasant, especially since this project eventually took almost 5 hours of his time over multiple visits, which I’m sure he would have preferred using to sell Verizon products. Others would have left me in the lurch, but he persevered and I will forever sing Verizon’s praises as a result. Thank you, Drew, for not giving up when so many others had. Wish I could give > 5 stars?

My wife and I Went to the store to get our daughter a new phone. I told the sales Clerk that I was going to pay cash for the phone outright. I put the money in the kiosk and they ended up charging my account anyway. It messed up my auto pay account and I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service trying to fix the damage they had caused in regards to my payments.

If you ever deny a set up service they will lied to you about a ONE TIME FEE and charge $29.99! Then if you ask for a receipt they give you another receipt you didn’t want.. then when they hand you the receipt they’ll tell you on the receipt it will say you pay for something else but it’s the same price!!!Two guys were working together. One is younger with half blonde hair and the other guy gels his hair with thick eyebrows I know he gets it his browns done! Both Hispanic so dont waste your time trusting these men.. if they can do something like that ! They probably do fraud at Verizon with people’s accounts..
