From Stephan (the manager) to every other employee I've interacted with (especially xxx whose name I'll add once I ask him for it), I always leave the store feeling better than I did walking into it. Somehow the guys are never frazzled, no matter how long the line is, which is impressive. They're genuinely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about UPS services. In fact, they've made such a good impression on me (over several visits to this store) that I now go out of my way to bring them business. They have a legit good reputation around here because their customer service is leaps and bounds above the norm in today's society. HUGE kudos to Stephan and his entire team - thank you for all you do to bring the art of excellent customer service back to the Chi!”

I came in at 5:59 pm needing a document notarized and didn't realize the service ended at 6. “Update: I received a phone call from the owner of this store and he was very polite. He explained to me why I was billed the amount that I was and took responsibility for staff not communicating the full price during the transaction(full price meaning shipping, pickup fee, materials, etc.)He apologized and even refunded me the charge. He also ensured me he would council the employee I spoke to initially when I called to resolve this issue. He also said they would use this as a learning opportunity to change processes to ensure this does happen again to another customer.I really appreciate that he listened to my concerns and showed empathy for the situation, instead of having a mocking/smirking attitude of "oh well, don't care" like I received from the other person I spoke to.I have updated this review to a 5 star based on my interaction with this gentleman, and because the interaction I had with a single employee does not translate to the entire business being bad.Previous review, leaving for context for update above⬆️:The below was an interaction with a UPS rep and a single employee of this store.This store(through a UPS rep I contacted at instruction from BWI) quoted me $14.27 to mail a lost item from the BWI airport to my house in Florida. Once I provided payment info they billed me $33.84. I called and spoke to an individual at the store who claimed there was a $10 shipping fee and the 8"x12" bubble mailer was $7 and some change. That still does not add up. I told him this was fraudulent and he denied that and said "Naw I mean not really". The package says I was charged for a 3lb package weight. The USB drive is 1.07oz and even with the bubble mailer it came in it was under 1/10 of a lb.If you are quoted a price and billed almost double the amount quoted that is fraud. You did not bother to disclose any other fees and did not send me an itemized invoice showing what those charges were for. When I called your employee was rude like I was wrong for questioning the increased amount.”

“The woman who owns this business is super super super nice and patient. I came in to get a something packaged up from the Italian market next door and other stuff. I would have had her ship it out but I needed to use brown which she does not have as an option. She directed me to walk east down the block to the brown store. Her boxing and packaging prices seem to be more economical than the brown stores and Fdx Office. I would support her business again if I happen to be back in Chicago. Personally I prefer to patronize small business owners.”
