I came to this location this past Saturday late afternoon because my son's glasses broke and he needed a new exam/prescription. The people who met with us, scheduled us, and helped us pick out frames were great. Very friendly and super helpful. The doctor who performed my son's exam was a different story. He clearly does not know how to deal with young kids who get a bit emotional and overwhelmed when they are sat in the big chair with all of the daunting equipment around it. We walked into his room and my son (a 2nd grader) saw the chair and equipment and was immediately intimidated. He did as he was told and sat in the chair and began to cry quietly. I stood next to my son and told him everything was going to be fine and none of this equipment was going to hurt him. Meanwhile the doctor just looked at him dumbfounded. He literally said, "what's wrong with him, does he always act like this?" He then said that maybe we can't go through with this exam if he going to act like this. He was clearly looking for an out but after waiting for as long as we did we were not going to leave without this exam and a prescription. I told the doctor that it was just my son's nerves and he just needed a bit of reassurance (which I alone had to apparently provide). My son calmed down almost instantly and we got on with the exam. The experience with the doctor who was generally cold and rushed ruined an otherwise positive visit. He seemed to just want the day to be over with. Next time, if we visit this establishment I'll ask to be seen by the female doctor who was also helping patients. This guy is not good with kids at all.

Went to 3 different places to try to get my dad (a senior) some replacement glasses. This LensCrafter is the place that will be our go to from now on. Titiani was very helpful and could not compliment her more on her knowledge and customer service. Would give 6 stars if I could.

It is very frustrating when you make an appointment, are requested to arrive early, you do, and then are made to wait for over 30 minutes after your appointment time to get started. Perhaps LensCrafters could do a better job with their scheduling algorithm if “children take longer” or are there for contacts or retinal imaging or some other reason. You are asked these types of questions when appointments are scheduled. Perhaps change the length of the appointment time so that patients aren’t waiting so long.At least the chairs are comfortable.

So this week Irealized that I was in a tight spot. I was down to my last pair of contacts and needed to wait a few more days for my contacts to arrive by mail. Not knowing how I was going to be able to see for work, I dropped by the LensCrafters on Touhy and Lincoln, where I had the pleasure of being assisted by Ghazala and Daniel, who made my visit to LensCrafters a fun, warm and welcoming experience. To my amazement they where kind enough to assist me with some trial pairs of contacts to get me through the week -and made the process of ordering contacts quick and easy. Definitely a caring group of individuals, LensCrafters not only has a beautiful storefront, but great customer service! Their associates have always taken great care of me, and I’ll definitely be back again? If your reading this- thank you again you two?

I have to say this may have been the best Eye exam + overall experience I’ve had when it comes to my vision. The assistant manager Titiani aka T is super professional yet relatable. She assisted me from beginning to end and I would 100 percent recommend. I arrived early to my appointment and the team was able to assist me right away along with making the process very smooth. The entire staff was respectful and knowledgeable. This location is very visually pleasing and clean. Definitely worth my travel and very excited to receive my new frames.

This is a newly remodeled location, and it looks absolutely beautiful. Everyone here was very welcoming and receptive to my needs. Shout out to Titiani and Ghazala for the amazing service. I love it when a retail environment makes me feel like it’s an interaction as opposed to a transaction. They gave me the best deal possible and showed me options. Definitely recommend LensCrafters to my friends and family!

Ti was amazing ! She helped me with my various insurances and got me the best price possible for everything. She’s a true multi-tasker that attends to many customers at a time, but manages to still get all their details and requests sorted efficiently !

I recently had an experience at Lenscrafters in Lincolnwood that has left me profoundly disheartened and questioning my loyalty to the brand. I believe in transparency, so I'll share my experience without mentioning the assistant store manager's name, out of respect for privacy, but this individual's actions deserve to be highlighted.Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal customer of Lenscrafters for years. I have consistently chosen to purchase my eyewear through Lenscrafters, even when I found the same pairs at significant discounts online. Why? Because I appreciate the in-person interaction and the level of trust I have built with the brand over the years. However, my recent encounter at Lenscrafters Lincolnwood was a stark departure from the exceptional customer service I had come to expect. The incident began when I lost my prescription glasses during a vacation. Naturally, I reached out to Lenscrafters for assistance, expecting a compassionate resolution given my long-term patronage, the fact that I had purchased their protection plan (fully aware that it didn't cover lost glasses), and the unique circumstances of the loss.To my utter dismay, the response I received was not only inconsiderate but also deeply insulting. The assistant store manager, who prided herself on 23 years of customer service excellence, insinuated that I was attempting to defraud LensCrafters. She quickly walked it back as soon as I pointed it out to her. This accusation was not only baseless but also incredibly hurtful, especially considering my lengthy history as a loyal customer who had never once complained or attempted any form of deceit.Customer service is the cornerstone of any reputable business, and I have always believed that Lenscrafters upheld these values. However, this experience shattered my faith in the brand. The assistant store manager's behavior was not only unprofessional but also demeaning, and it left me feeling disrespected and unheard. In summary, my experience at Lenscrafters Lincolnwood was nothing short of a nightmare. I have spent years supporting this brand, valuing the in-person shopping experience and the trust I had built. Yet, when I needed assistance the most, Lenscrafters failed me. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for better, and it's disheartening to realize that my loyalty was not reciprocated. I now find myself contemplating alternatives for my eyewear needs in the future, as I cannot continue to support a brand that treats its loyal customers with such disrespect and suspicion.
