Horrible pharmacy customer service. Going in 2 hours and still waiting for my vaccination appointment. Do not allow appointments if you cannot honor them. No excuse.

Store ok, but too long of a wait for prescriptions. They don't have ready until many hours after doctor calls in (today 6 hour wait), which is too long. Also not much cashier staff so even when ready, be prepared for a long wait in line to pick up and pay. Nice people, but radically understaffed in pharmacy department.

On the app, it stated that there was an issue with my insurance, but there was no action required. After a couple hours I became concerned, so I called the pharmacy and the technician was very sweet and explained that my doctor sent the wrong amount of supply. He then stated that I myself need to call my doctor to resend the normal supply of medication. He said they should then have my prescription ready within two hours.Wasn’t that hard and I understand that I’m sure they’re busy so I went and head and contacted my doctor. My doctor resent the prescription correctly right away.Six hours go by, so I re-called the pharmacy. I was on hold for over 45 minutes. I decided to then drive to the pharmacy myself to hopefully get an answer and be able to pick up my prescription. I get there in the drive-through and waited for 20 minutes with zero help or acknowledgment from any staff! I I ended up driving away and headed back home in distress.I would like to add that I understand the entire world, especially pharmacies are understaffed right now, but do not promise people that their medication will be ready at a certain time or refuse to help them. These are not normal orders such as online shopping, food, Amazon, clothes etc. We are talking about MEDICATION in which some times is life threatening if people don’t receive in an appropriate time. I work in customer service so I understand that anything can happen at any given point but PLEASE communicate and respect better!

*this review is specifically for the PHARMACY*If I could leave a zero I would. They tell you they will have your medication ready by a specific day and time and then not only once I come back to pick it up and it’s not ready still but THREE times. I was told by a pharmacy tech who was working Friday night that she normally doesn’t work at that location but she would stay to make sure the ear drops are ready for pick up for Saturday since we were going out of town.. was it ready? No. So unprofessional. Most successful businesses know to under promise and over deliver so apparently this pharmacy hasn’t figured that one out yet. It’s a zoo at this point and you can tell no one has a clue what they’re doing.

Experience and explore the black hole at this Walgreens (Lincolnshire).Three recent visits to pick up prescriptions. The first visit was evening time, drive-up. Wait and wait (you know how it goes - should I come back or wait) - after about 15 minutes, the prescription was delivered through the window along with the cursory 'thanks for your patience'.The second visit was mid-day in-store (clearly strategizing to get a quick pickup). There was a long line so I decided to try another time.The third time, I really needed the prescription (the drive-up was blocked off). There was another long line which gave me the opportunity to watch the inaction. Two clerks providing 'help' to one customer. Clerks wandering and searching for a prescription. A customer waiting and waiting to get a vaccine shot. Got my prescription and not even the insincere 'thank-you for your patience'.

Would give 0 stars. Undeniably the worst place I've ever been to. I was put on hold for 1-1/5 hours because "sorry for keeping you waiting" "there is 3 callers ahead of you." Uhm, customer service is a 0/10 and this is a joke.

If I could give zero stars, I would! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR FED EX!! I dropped off a Fed Ex envelope to this store on 12/8/22 @ 1:48 p.m. This is what happened: the envelope sat at this store for...wait for it...3 weeks and was scanned a second time on 12/30/22 @ 9:13 a.m. The envelope finally arrived at it's destination on 1/5/2023!! (Yes - my bad for not following up on it, however a business associate provided the label and thus, I was not able to get updates. I should have made a copy of the label but didn't. Lesson Learned). I called Walgreen Customer Service (?) and filed a complaint, was issued a case number and never heard back from anyone! I called Walgreens Customer Service twice - they never called me! Unbelievable! This was business related, not just someone's Christmas card.

Not great pharmacy service. I came directly from the doctors office. The office had sent over a prescription to be filled. When I went to pick it up the individual at the window informed me that my "promised time" was not for another hour and a half. So I couldn't pick it up. Kind of frustrating that she was suggesting it was some time that we had agreed upon when really it was just that my doctor had sent the prescription. It seems like I should be able to just go pick up a prescription or wait there until it's ready. But now I have to come back out an hour plus later because there's no budging on the "promised time". Not a great customer service system.

I made a covid test appointment this morning for 4 pm this evening. I get there and they told me I did not have an appointment and asked to see my confirmation email. So I showed them and several minutes later they say oh yes here it is. After my test they told me it would be 3-5 hours before I had results even though on the site it says I would have them in 2 hours. Well it has been over six hours and still nothing. This is exactly why I pulled my scripts from Walgreens, they never have had anything done on time and alway give some lame a** excuse.

Visiting from California and i woke up with a terrible ear infection. I called this particular Walgreens after calling the closest hospital and they did everything in there power to help me. I felt so defeated after speaking to the local hospital. They were so rude to me and made my pain feel unimportant. Not this Walgreens though. They not only called my California insurance. They also faxed the necessary documents to get my ear infection medication approved. My medication was approved the same day. I feel this pharmacy went above and beyond to help me. Their staff is also very friendly and they listen to your issue. Everyone in this pharmacy needs a raise !! Thankyou Walgreens.. you saved this California girls day!

They yet again cancel an order, have yet to have one work with 6 tries at four different locations. So much for 30 minute promises when I get no communications for an hour then get it canceled after three. So many more reliable retailers. I'm not sure why I waste my time every few months that I decided to give them another chance. Note to self, just go to Target.

The manager of the Lincolnshire IL location would not accept an online return. No reason given. Just flat out refusal. He has been super rude on number occasions and beyond unprofessional. I plan to avoid this location at all costs.

How do I write a review about Walgreens? Great place they have everything I'm looking for... I used to do something called arbitrage with them, look for the orange on sale tags especially with toys and buy it up and sell it on eBay. I shouldn't be giving away my side hustle secrets though...
