My feet are so much better (plantar fasciitis and neuroma). Thank you Dr. Hart and the whole team! Office clean, staff very courteous and friendly, and have never had to wait for in waiting room. Highly recommend!

I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Surowiec and his team. He took time to explain everything and help me make the best decisions for my medical situation. I can't thank him enough for all his help.

Dr. Jared Hart was my doctor for recent ankle surgery. He explained everything that was to be done to remove a plate and 7 screws from my ankle from a previous injury. My screws were coming out and causing pain and numbness in my leg. After surgery he saw me to change my bandage and go over my after care. I followed his instructions and was able to heal quickly with no complications.Dr. Hart is a very good surgeon and always asked if I had any more questions or concerns. I would recommend Dr. Hart and believe he should have along and prosperous career as a podiatrist/surgeon. It was a pleasure to work with him to resolve my ankle problems. Jeanne M.

Gratitude in abundance to the team at Libertyville Podiatry. Drs. Surowiec and Kwiecinski are exceptionally skilled and kind. The entire practice, inclusive of their front desk team is top notch in every way. My husband and I are grateful for the conscientious and thoughtful care, across many months of contact both in the office and in the hospital. Dr. Surowiec, especially, was a bright spot, providing essential information in a holistic manner. If it were possible, we'd give more than five stars. Thank you!

I had met with Dr. Surowiec at Condell Medical Center, due to an infection in my foot requiring surgery. He was very thorough and explained what options were available and potential outcomes. After the surgery, I had consistent follow up visits to ensure that I was on the road to recovery and to eliminate any potential residue issues. He and his partner (Dr. Kwiecinski) were very gracious with their aid and care for myself. It is one year later and due to their skilled efforts and mine, it has been a perfect union.I am truly grateful for all of their efforts and can not stress their partnership in ensuring my health and well being.

I read the reviews for Dr. Suroweic prior to making my appointment & after seeing the two heavily negative reviews I was hesitant to go. I figured despite peoples opinion of his personality he still knew what he was doing. After arriving at the office, talking with him & getting my foot worked on I feel the negative reviews are overblown & due to a small percentage of the overall amount of patients. Typically people don't write reviews unless they're unhappy with service. From my experience the doctor was thorough, took the time to explain aspects of my situation & gave me a chance to ask any questions prior to him starting the procedure. The guy is just direct & I guess some people don't like that when I contradicts with their beliefs or ideas. The thing is, he is the professional in this area, we are not. During small talk regarding my ingrown nail I brought up products I'd seen on Amazon which was a brace that applied tension to both sides of the nail with the purpose of correcting the growth of the nail. Even looking at those products myself I could tell it might only work if you used this product early on. He just told me point blank it's a gimmick product. I bring this up just cuz the other reviews were based on his delivery while talking with him. Again, he's just direct but isn't that what u want when going to a doctor? If u knew better than them then u wouldn't be seeking the help of someone else. Anyway, it was an overall good experience. Since my last time going to a podiatrist this was the better experience as they did more to make the preparations more comfortable as well as just feeling he was more thorough with the procedure as a whole

I brought my teenager to be seen by Dr. Surowiec. He promptly took care of her toe, recommend the best solution for her and did the procedure same day. After the peocedure she wasn't in pain and hasn't had an issue since!

My dad was referred to Dr. Surowiec by his primary care physician to treat a possible toe fungus. I have never witnessed, or experienced, a worse bedside manner after dealing with Dr. Surowiec for less than 10 minutes. He is condescending, rude, and cares little about his patients, which was evident in the very short time we dealt with him. When he walked in he didn't even introduce himself or ask our names. He obviously knew my dad's info, but he didn't know me and that's a red flag right there to not even do a proper introduction. He said why are you here and my dad proceeded to show him his toe at which point the doctor's words were, so you're here because you don't like the look of it. Ummmm, yeah and it might be a fungus, we said. He went through a few options and my dad being 77, wanted some additional info and clarification. Dr. Surowiec's response was, "ok, so I'll repeat myself", while looking at me like we're idiots. Who does that? You're a doctor who is supposed to treat patients and give information. If I ask you 5 times to explain the options, you better explain the options. He proceeded to act in that same manner of indifference to the situation. My dad wanted to know what procedure he (the doctor) would do and that's where I couldn't take it anymore. Dr. Surowiec's response was something like why would I tell you what you should do, it's up to you. Did he receive his degree from a gum-ball machine? Yes, doctor, you often give YOUR recommendation based on what your eyeballs and years of experience tell you. LOL. I mean you can't make this stuff up. I asked him what his problem was and said if he doesn't want us here we can go somewhere else. He said sure that's our choice. Wow! We finished with the appointment and acted like we'd go back because by this point it was beyond embarrassing. He said to let his admin know at the front to schedule the procedure but we walked right out. If there was only 1 podiatrist left on earth, and it was Dr. Surowiec, and I had gangrene where my foot was about to fall off, I still would choose infection over this doctor. Please run, far away from this place.

Dr Suroweic is not right, he is a podiatrist in Libertyville who is in practice with another person that I will not mention because we didnt see her because she wasnt in the insurance network. Please go to another Dr. or change your insurance. Filled out medical forms, it asked if I was allergic to anything and I said I was to Childrens advil because of the dye in it. He proceeded to tell me that I was not allergic to ANYTHING(YES really he said ANYTHING) because I have taken ibuprofen in another brand. I told him I had a reaction to the dye in it and Not the ibuprofen. He dwelled on this topic for about ten minutes which was completely irrelevant to to why I was there and told me I needed to take it seriously- as if we, yes I had someone with me who also heard what he was saying which made no sense, he is not right in his head. Allergies are 100% serious especially since I had a reaction to this. Yes he really said I wasn't allergic to that or ANYTHING, when I was in the hospital for it and I was told it was the dye. I went to see a foot dr because my foot hurt, I didnt want any medicine which is all he wanted to give me and didnt even feel my foot. Now I have to go to another Dr because this person did Not do his job. He also was talking so fast and said he was going to prepare for an xray and walked out of the room so fast that he never gave me a chance to say the REFERRING dr gave me an xray which you already have fresh in my file that you NEVER even bothered to see until I told you. He gave an electronic prescription that I will never pick up because I dont want pain pills I wanted you to be a decent dr instead you went off and nothing was even said to you to make you act unacceptable. Now we have to find a another Dr, this one big reason why people dont go to doctors a second time. Willing to take a Polygraph and post results, this guy should be checked out by someone. Very scary and concerning what we experienced. People need to know how this person's demeanor is. I would Never recommend this foot dr. Just baffled that this was an appointment to see a foot dr for my foot pain. This is just a foot dr who was trying to be someone else.
