Libertyville Chevrolet has a top notch team from the sales through their service teams. Up front, honest, and passionate about providing an excellence in customer experience that surpasses other dealerships and goes above and beyond for the Chevrolet automotive brands. From my first experience in 2013 through today, they have been the most consistent and engaging partnership that I’ve ever had while owning a vehicle. I highly recommend everyone to experience the best of the best and buy their vehicle with Libertyville Chevrolet and ensure that you get all of your maintenance work performed through their service department.

Normally, i dont write reviews, good or bad, but I'll write one here. ..
They almost had a sale. But wouldn't take my own financing. My brother bought an Equinox at The Chevy Exchange in Lake Bluff with the same credit union financing i had. Gary Lang also had no problem with my mom having the same credit union financing . Go to those dealers instead .
We looked at a 2018 Equinox with 8,000 miles. It was nice, and I took it on a test drive and wanted to proceed with the financial process. Everything was fine until we mentioned we weren't going to finance with them . Then everything changed . My dad laid on the ground under the car and saw oil drips around the metal around and below the engine.
The salesman had gone inside while my dad did that and came back out. My dad started to tell him about the drips and wanted the car to be put on a lift. The salesman claimed he was sorry, but while we were out on the 5 mile test drive, a couple that had looked at the car last night and had wanted to sleep on it, And How convenient Magically called and said they wanted to buy it at full asking price PLUS some ridiculous package of over $3,000 dollars AND finance through them.
I had financing through a credit union, and they have an extended warranty at a lower price and longer term than this bogus package. The salesman said the car is basically sold, BUT if we would buy it at those SAME terms, since we were there and the other couple were on their way, we could buy the car. I asked if the package included an extended warranty? He said no. I asked what their APR was. He said they would have to run credit histories and see if it would be just me or my parents. so no straight answer. He said he wasn't going to waste OUR time getting my 2012 Terrain appraised or getting the new car put on a lift to see where the oil was leaking from. Wouldn't do that. An equinox with 8,000 miles shouldn't be leaking oil in the engine bay. Might have been a minor fix, but who knows. Wouldn't want to be stranded on the road.
So we walked. Probably won't ever come to libertyville Chevy again even if they have my dream car.
TOTAL STRONG ARM TATICS !

Worst service that I have ever experienced when buying a car. The level of disrespect with the SP and GM is unable to put in words. Don’t stop there for Anything! You will get screwed over at this location. You are not a valued as a customer at this location. It’s an insult to the brand. Lots of “sneaky” stuff going on behind the scenes…Very untrustworthy!

Excellent experience, like anything it's the people that matter most. Robert the Corvette tech is among the best and cares for my Corvette more than I do. Natalia the corvette service manager is an amazing part of the team and kept me updated before, during and after the service. I have had the opportunity to own many premium brands and the level of care and service this team offers is bar none.

Bob Williams is an excellent sales person. His hard work is the reason I am driving my new to me vehicle. Bob also supported me after the sale and I greatly appreciate his dedication. All in all a great buying experience. Highly recommend seeing Bob Williams.

I went in to get a car a few weeks ago, I thought the price was good. Tested the car and those few minutes that I drove the car it felt okay. When I was signing the paperwork I told the finance guy that I didn't want the gap insurance or the other thing he had added which was for wheels and tires. I told the finance guy multiple times that I didn't want those things added and at one point he made a comment that it wouldn't be a good deal if that was added. After having him push for me to add those extra things he said I had to go back the next day to finish signing the paperwork as the place I was getting the loan from the website wasn't working or something like that. So I left with the car and when I drove it home the car was shaking a lot and it just felt like something was off. When I went back the next day I didn't want to sign anything and the finance guy asked me what had changed from the night before. I told him that something was wrong with the car and that it was shaking a lot and that I didn't want to sign anything and if I could just return the car. The finance guy said that he stood behind his car and that there was nothing wrong with the car. He then said "well I technically don't need your signature because you already signed yesterday and if you want the car checked then you can bring it in but you will get charged for getting the car checked" I hadn't even had the car for 24 hours. I had no choice but leave with the car. Before I left I asked what was the information for the extra service that he had added for the tires and wheels and he said he didn't have that information at the moment. I think the finance guys name was Corey because he was the one constantly calling me, texting and sending me letters because I had to confirm somethings with the loan company. Thankfully the loan company was able to revoke the loan and the dealership went to pick up the car. I did loose the downpayment and they kept the car plates. I have been buying all my cars from them but from this experience I make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from Chevy in Libertyville and their sister dealerships. It's sad to see how they take advantage of people. I told them I am pregnant and was trying to get a reliable and safe car for when I have my baby. Anyone who doesn't know much about cars or about finance because they will take as much money as they can.

Never again! Drove over an hour to get there only to be told that the vehicle that I was to test drive was being "detailed" BUT other vehicles are available. Not even an apology. Total bait and switch game!

As a newer Corvette owner, I was skeptical on where to bring the car for obvious reasons. Met the advisor Natalia, who treated me like a true VIP. Got a tour of the shop and met techs Ricky and Robert. Not only were they both friendly and knowledgeable, they took the time to answer my questions and show me the work they did on the car. Honesty is the biggest peace of mind in this industry, and hard to find! Definitely a professional operation and glad to have a go-to place for the future ahead.
