Everyone that I worked with at JC Licht was not only professional, but knowledgeable and available to me whenever I called. Michelle in sales and Dominick in installation were extremely helpful. Within a short time all my questions were answered.Michelle talked to me when I called on her day off!Dominick came after a long day at 7pm to install for me. Thanks so much, everyone.I had the back side of house with bedrooms and bathrooms done with blinds. The family, dining and kitchen have solar shades. I especially love the battery operated shades for the kitchen windows. I am able to use a remote to raise and lower them. I would not be able to reach them easily across the counters.

Great experience! Our second purchase of blinds from JC Licht and we’re so happy with the service. Elizabeth Baumruck on the design and product selection part of the process was terrific -- efficient, knowledgeable, and provided good advice tailored to our needs and preferences. Dawn came to measure our windows for Hunter Douglas shades and was very helpful. She brought color samples and suggested different mounting techniques that we had not considered. It was a good experience and I would recommend their services.

I love working with Kim. She is always professional and ready to help. JC Licht offers a wide selection of high end/quality wall paper options for every taste. Prior to my interior designer's recommendation, I associated wallpaper with boring old lady, traditional, flowery prints. I was and remain blown away by the beautiful selections available. My master bedroom and Powder Room now look luxurious and stunning! JC Licht Libertyville will remain my go to source for all things wallpaper for the forseeable future.

Approximately 20 years ago I had put in Hunter Douglas blinds throughout my whole house. Recently I decided to change 5 blinds out along with ordering blinds for 2 new windows. JC Licht was suggested to me as a distributor of Hunter Douglas blinds - to say the least I am so happy they were recommended, they were wonderful to work with. The decorate was absolutely great, she knew her business and her decorator eye and suggestions were really appreciated. I can't say enough about, I believe his name was Andy, but he measured and installed the blinds - wow, you can tell he has done this for sometime. Again, as he was measuring he was asking different questions about how I wanted the blinds to work, again since it has been approximately 20 years ago there were some different issues that were corrected by Andy and what a difference it made. When he installed the blinds he was so knowledgeable, experienced and fast - no mess. All I can say is this was my first experience working with JC Licht, but will definitely use them again.

Kim is so kind and informative and her decorating expertise is top notch! Every time I’m redoing a project in my house, my first step is to consult with Kim on paint color selection, etc. We’re never disappointed.

There are lots of places to buy paint, There are very few places where you find inspiration, knowledgeable help, and laughter along with that paint. The employees at Libertyville's JC Licht are all talented, experienced, and kind people who seem to truly like their jobs. It is always a pleasure to walk in that door. Thank you Kim, Bob, Ryan, and Sam for making my life easier. Kim Gilliland has a special gene for seeing colors that is supernatural. She needs to be cloned.

Took 7 weeks to get one window treatment and it was wrong!! I was promised 2-3 weeks. Expensive and unreliable. Do not use this company.
