In the eleventh hour of our home closing we nearly had to cancel the contract due to an unforeseen timing type issue with a HELOC which my previous mortgage lender had hinged my entire deal on. GLM was able to help me in my emergency situation, they found me a mortgage, and got me approved without selling my current home and without a HELOC, only using the money I had already saved up. we were within a week and a half before our closing date and GLM was able to get me approved to close basically overnight, and made sure I would not loose my dream home, and we even closed on time! I am so grateful for what they did for me and now we have a home that we have dreamed of for decades. Thank you GLM team!!!

Great Lakes Home Mortgage is the place to go when purchasing your new home. They are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough while anticipating your needs. Angela is absolutely amazing!!! With the purchase if our first home, we used a different mortgage group and were not given all the information on that changes we would experience with our mortgage. This coat us thousands of dollars and many sleepless nights. When we were ready to sell, and buy again, we were referred to Great Lakes Home Mortagage and were not disappointed! After hearing all the nightmare stories, and experiencing some ourselves, of waiting days or weeks to hear back from underwriters and lenders who don't seem to be human, we were nervous. But Angela was incredibly responsive and very honest about the entire process and what to expect at every step along the way. There were no points in time we felt unprepared. We will be using Great Lakes Home Mortgage for all of our mortgage needs!
