I recently had the pleasure of working with Margaret Rosemeyer of Eclectic Design Source, an incredibly talented interior designer and I could not be happier with the results! From start to completion, I was so impressed by her creativity, unique design sense and professionalism.Margaret’s ability to understand and appreciate my ideas and transform them into a beautifully updated space was remarkable. She took the time to listen to my preferences and added her expertise to enhance a space that exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and every element of the design was thoughtfully original.Not only did Margaret have a keen eye for aesthetics, but she also demonstrated a meaningful knowledge of materials, colors, and current and future trends. She made sure that the den design was not only beautiful but also functional, comfortable, and practical for both my work and home use.Throughout the entire process, Margaret was easy to communicate with and kept me informed about the progress of the project. She worked within my budget and suggested creative solutions to make the most of my resources, which I appreciated. She provided several options to keep me involved and allowed me to choose my personal likes within budget considerations without sacrificing quality in material or design. The outside contractors she employed were respectful and professional as well and she monitored them continually until their work was complete.In the end, the transformation of my den was amazing! I would highly recommend Margaret and Eclectic Design Source to anyone in search of a professional who can turn their design hopes into a stunning reality. Margaret at Eclectic Design did a wonderful job in helping us with replacement of many window shades in our home. She was prompt at every meeting, had numerous material books and shade samples with her, showed us choices (without overwhelming us), made sound recommendations and did perfect measurement (and re-measurement for the sake of being sure). She was always a pleasure to speak with and gracefully handled several changes we made in our order during the process. Her installation crew was amazingly fast and courteous.Service: Refurbishment

Margaret has designed a number of rooms in our house and I have to say the dining room has to be one of my favorites! The room started out dark - tobacco brown stencil on the walls and a light brown on the ceiling. Margaret used cream color paint and wallpaper to bring the room to a higher level. The window treatments add that special touch to the room - light and air. The dark wood floors, the table and buffet are an awesome contrast to the cream color. What stands out the most in the room is the single tulip print in the most unique frame.I am sad to say I am running out of rooms for Margaret to work her magic in!

We have just had a complicated window project finished at our home by Margaret Rosemeyer of Eclectic Design Source. Margaret follows every detail through to completion and couldn't be more creative, responsible and fun to work with. And she listens. We've worked with many interior design people. Margaret is definitely the best. Highly recommended.

We love working with Eclectic and will continue to use them and highly recommend them. We hired them to help with space planning and optimization in our family room. It's a large space, but very awkward for furniture placement with multiple door openings and windows. Eclectic provided a number of different design options to fit our taste. They helped transform our space with the selection of a new color palette for our home - it wasn't anything we would have thought of and it looks amazing. Friends are copying our paint swatches!! We are excited to work with them again for the next phase of our project!

We were building our new home and needed help choosing finishes and other selections. It was overwhelming! Eclectic came in and quickly helped us choose counter tops, back splash, stain on floors and lighting. After we moved in, Eclectic installed Plantation Shutters and helped us with all of our area rugs. We love everything! We recommend Eclectic and would hire them again!

We hired Eclectic to design to remodel our downstairs bathroom. The bathroom was old and tired. We wanted to gut the the room and start fresh. Eclectic created a fun and family friendly design we never would have come up with on our own! Margaret brought in her team of tradesmen and managed the whole project. We are thrilled with the results! We highly recommend Eclectic as they are very creative and a pleasure to work with!

Decadent and wonderful stuff.... also full of well designed, well-made, sometimes local things, decor and gifts. Looking for upscale wonderful smells? This is ground zero for it and none of the cheap granny stench that you find in the grocery store that reeks of fake jasmine, pickles and mango.

Their design skills 100% fit the vibe we wanted for our office. Walking down Milwaukee street I came across this beautiful little shop. I think that its main function is to help you design, but there are also nice home decor items strewn around. As I am not really into the whole decor thing, I looked around for gifts instead. I found some really awesome hidden gems and some old favorites in that tiny little space. Yes, they are on the expensive side, but there are some discounted items and some cheaper gifts hidden in there as well. Me being me, I ended up leaving with three bottles of "poo-pourri", you know, because I am a child, and also because that stuff works. Seriously.
