Some fun custom non-Lego (but compatible) minifigures. Some horror or pop culture themed stuff that probably isn’t officially licensed but a good time. They had some Magic the Gathering stuff, I bought something not comparing prices only to find out it was marked up double the current marked value, so … I guess price check before purchasing. Clerk at counter seemed to be rushing us and trying to check us out while we were still browsing, so that was a little awkward. All in all, it’s a good little shop.

The owner Charlie has an in depth knowledge of the comic book industry. Truly only a few of many authentic comic book stores out there and Dreamland delivers. Came in to trade some old comics and came out with a vintage Pokemon card. Great environment. Thank you

Love this place ! Every Friday it’s my boyfriend and i’s date day and we go here then to lunch. It’s always a good time and the employees are the best !

Such a great place to visit for trading, selling, and buying cards and comics. Though they may not have an enormous collection like others of its kind they still have much to see from GI Joe cards and comics to Pokémon cards. In general a great place to stop by if you have any free time.

Bad customer service. It's unfortunate because it's a cool shop. If you're not one of their regulars it'll be difficult to have a good experience.

Comics, vinyl records, board (and card) games, if you're looking for it, talk to the owner of Dreamland Comics, Charlie. He's got a fair bit of knowledge, is deft at connecting people with far-flung interests, and has seen & experienced a lot of different spheres of interest. Bring your shy son, your daughter who is not sure which questions to ask; Charlie is both friendly and diplomatic, so being with him and talking with him is never awkward. He is a great guy to ask questions of, and I have found his store tends to stock what I would like before I ask about it - the interesting stuff, which you'd say, "Hey, I was wondering, do you have.." and he'd direct you to where it's at. Thoughtful guy. Great store.

Very limited vinyl selection here if you want to dig for used records I recommend other lake county locations like Daddio's in Wauconda

I frequent this store. Friendly staff, but I wouldn't go here if you're looking for games or trading cards or looking to sell anything.
