I had a great experience with Christopher and Mark! They worked so hard and were pleasant and helpful- their sense of humor was refreshing, and they took an item I wasn’t sure they could handle—- hunks indeed!! I will definitely use them again ! Molly
I also recently had Lorenzo, Demarcus and Jesus move my household furniture etc to my storage space, and they actually got it all to fit!! I was extremely impressed with their efficiency and skill in wrapping the fragile furniture - I will definitely use them again! Molly

Another great experience with College H.U.N.K.S. This time to help with junk and furniture removal as we clean out. Chris and Vladimir did an amazing job hauling away a huge china cabinet we had. Super efficient. They called ahead of time to let us know they were arriving and the process was quick and easy. Less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend using College Hunks for all your moving junk removal,

Third time I have used the service. The team is amazing. On time quick, caring about your home, taking time not to damage it. Lots of communications, e-mails, phone calls or texts. You know when they will arrive and you get a fair estimate for removal of your items.

If I could put less than one star I would, but the 1 star that's there is for the crew that actually did the moving otherwise, I had a 10 AM appointment. I got a phone call before 10 AM saying. We we need to push back your move. I said, OK, what time I was told 1:30 PM I said that was fine, I could work with that 1:30 PM came and went I made phone calls sent text messages. No replies until approximately two thirty at two thirty I was told the guy should be there in about an hour. This move was my 87-year-old mother who has dementia moving into assisted, living the delays of this day alone. We're not good for her condition. During the time that we did not hear back from anyone, we could have packed app small boxes and made several trips to help make this day a success. Unfortunately, because there was little to no communication, we were stuck. At the house, waiting and waiting and could not leave.Because we didn't know if the truck would show up at any moment or not. Needless to say, when we were told the guys would be here in about an hour at 230 that hour came and went twice over and again, we made calls sent text messages and didn't hear from anyone until about 430 and then again at 430. We're told the guys would be there in about an hour. This time they were pretty accurate. They showed up around 5:40 PM. Bottom line is, we lost an entire day because of delays and lack of communication. We were then offered some compensation a whole 75. Dollars
Which was definitely not enough. We asked that they give us back only 1 hour at their cost of $220 per hour. We didn't feel this was unreasonable. Considering our original move was supposed to be at 10 AM. And the actual move happened 7 and a 1/2 hours later. After phone calls back-and-forth with a manager, they insisted that a whole $100 was the best they could do when I asked to speak to someone above him. He said there was no one above him. Just another manager who would tell me the same thing. So at this point, my time was worth nothing to them, actually scratch that mine and my sister who were trying to move our mother. We're worth about $12.50 an hour each. Based on the 4 hour delay that started at 1:30. The only excuse the manager gave me for not giving me one hours time at 2:20 an hour. Refund was because they have billing minimums. I mean, really? I've been a manager in customer service for many years, this is not how you do it.
UPDATE: My sister tried calling as she also left a review. No one has called back for a week. The $100 refund???...I was supposed to get an email about it to "sign off" a week and a half ago....still nothing.?
UPDATE Oct 15 2024: since my last update, I got an immediate phone call. Oh, we sent you an email a week ago.Let's confirm your email. Well, they've emailed me multiple times before with no problem. So now I get an email, sorry. Not sure why you didn't get the original.Not that they forwarded the original to prove that they even sent it before, but now it's sign a legal document to get your refund. Once again, wasting my time.That has no value to them. I also don't have a printer or scanner to be able to print out their legal document.Sign it and return it. This is so ridiculous, issued the dam refund. And Hey, how about make it more than just a $100? And give me the $220 that you charge per hour for your time to me, my time is priceless.
