I had the pleasure of meeting Margaret today. I needed a copy of a tax form from a previous year that was handled at another H&R bock location. Margaret was so kind, she found what I needed and had it ready for me to pick up when I arrived. I'd highly recommend her. She knows how to talk to people and that goes a long way.

I wish I had gotten her name but she was so helpful with my concerns of being scammed. She sits in the first booth on the left. I was concerned about being scammed because I completed my taxes myself with the online software. After I was through, I had gotten an email stating that I needed to call to verify my information. I’ve used the online software for 4 years and never had to do that before. I googled the number and it stated it’s a scam likely number. So I didn’t call. A week goes by and my taxes are still not filed so I called the number. I spoke with someone (I recorded the call) and the lady had a very suspicious voice asking for my personal information. She asked for my SSN twice. I informed her I will not provide that just to look up my account. I ended the call. I came into this location for assistance. Unfortunately, since I used the online software, she couldn’t help me on her end. She went above and beyond to call the number herself to verify that it’s not a scam. She said everything sounds okay and she passed me the phone. The representative I talked to today didn’t even ask me for my SSN. So the First Lady I did speak to definitely was a scam because why are you asking for my social twice! Anywho, I’m glad I came in today and had this agent to help me! Thank you so much!

The H & R Block facility was clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Also the tax professional that prepared our taxes was very knowledgeable and completed our taxes in a timely manner.
