Awesome staff!! Kind, considerate of my financial situation- never hurried me, or made me feel bad with my prior bankruptcy. I’m a stupid old lady who fell for a scammer!! Kathy is an amazing Dr also very kind and compassionate woman to do all she does for long-term clients. I’ve been a fan and favorite for about 25 years!! Great service, great guest service and com and a well educated staff who gives!!

After 4 other doctors missed it, Dr. Wilson caught the vitreous fluid had puckered in my eye. She handed me a paper that had lines on it and asked if the lines were moving. Yes. And she immediately knew I needed vitrectomy surgery and sent me to the Rentina Institure in Crysral Lake. Thansk to her, my eyesight issue after several years has been rectified. NO ONE BETTER!

A special "shout-out" to Cari! My husband and I have had the benefit of Cari's great work and knowledge for many years--even before she was at Shopko. And we are so grateful to again have her expertise now at Shopko for her help in selecting frames and her knowledge about insurance. She is so sweet and an absolute pleasure to deal with. My daughter and I had our first annual exam with Shopko and it was painless and super fast! (Without feeling rushed!) From walking in the door, we felt welcomed and attended to with no wait. Kimberly did great at explaining everything prior to the appointment so my daughter (8) was comfortable with the new drs office. She also was great at helping chose glasses, and helping me understand and utilize my vision insurance.

Hello, I went to Shopko Optical in Lakemoor, Illinois yesterday. Dr. Kathryn Wilson is the best! They were able to get me an appointment within two days. Received a thorough eye exam from Dr. Wilson who explained in detail what the issue was with my eye, shared her own similar experience, told me what signs mean a worsening condition, and who to call\go see if this happens. I HIGHLY recommend this location and Dr. Wilson.
