Had a great experience at this store! Went in to set up a new line and upgrade a phone, which can be a long process, but I have to say the guy that helped us (Scott) was wonderful and patient! Highly recommend!

We had to cancel a line that took 5 minutes to do. Employee needed manager authorization. So basically the manager could have just helped us instead of waiting 45 minutes for a sales rep to help us. The manager stood around not doing anything for the 45 minutes we waited.

Useless. The phone got stuck in a start-up loop and needed a reset. I took it in and verified I had coverage. They sent me down the street to a repair shop that wanted $100 to plug it in. Went back to the Verizon store asked why they printed a ticket and sent me back to the repair shop. The repair shop said they needed to swap the battery and that would take 2 hours and they were closing in one. Took my phone home ran the Google hard reset app on my PC and fixed it myself. Thanks for wasting my time Verizon. So happy I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. If I could bill you for my time I would.

My experience at the Verizon store in Lake Zurich was awful. Manny, the manager, treated me with a complete lack of respect. Manny said that my phone was “low tier” and would not count for much when looking to trade it in for a new phone. In addition, Manny did not inform me of the international plan that is available through Verizon when asking about a phone plan while abroad. When I brought up my concerns with Manny’s service, Manny was rude and condescending. I asked for someone else to provide me service, and instead, Manny declined providing service altogether. However, in actuality Manny did me a favor (thank you Manny!) because I went to the Verizon store in Palatine and received excellent service, specifically from Allen. I was able to trade in my phone for a great price and get the correct information for an international plan while abroad. Overall, the service at the Verizon store in Lake Zurich was disappointing and frustrating. I would avoid this store if you are able to.

Been to this location three times. Terrible customer service, staff not even trying to work with customers, just hanging out. One of the female staff members was extremely unhelpful and didn't want to do minimum customer service. Not sure why this location remains open, please shut it down or replace all staff. It seems that staff is either trying to punish the company or owner of this location by treating customers terribly.

Caution, find another Verizon or another carrier. I have been waiting since May for a resolution on a trade in that seemingly no one remembers anything about because there were no notes put into the computer. Very convenient.

I was the only customer in the store, went for a simple prepaid SIM card. They were quick to charge me, then try to activate the SIM, and then them spending over an hour trying to resolve it in the back room. In the end, they couldn’t resolve it and that was just a big waste of time for something so simple.Additionally, unfortunately, we couldn’t just cancel and walkout as they weren’t able to process us for a refund on the SIM card we had just purchased maybe 15 mins prior.Thank goodness my bank could reject the charge afterwards, because we couldn’t get a refund since it was a prepaid card. If we hadn’t been able to, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to tell us ‘sorry, no refund and it doesn’t work with your phone. No credits either because we can’t. Have a nice day and thanks for your free money!’ ?Anyways, while one manager was quite understanding and trying to help (Joey), the other was quite the opposite (Eric). After having not been able to fix the issue and having wasted over an hour of our time, I requested an account credit at the very least. Given Eric’s knee jerk reaction and stern response, coupled with his body language, you would have thought I had asked them for the keys to the vault ??Anyways, disappointing experience. Will do my absolute best to never return to this location.

Been in this location a few times and it seems like more of a hangout for the employees than a job and helping customers. Can't tell who the manager is, everyone seems to be the same. I understand the need for robots to take over, at least they can be programmed to be welcoming and friendly.

Terrible experience. Had an issue with the Verizon system taking off my veterans discount after verifying my eligibility on their website. So I came to the store after dealing with their useless call center that gave me my credit back but did not know how to fix the problem itself. Before I could even finish stating the issue the employee there proceeded to interrupt me several times telling me he can’t help me I need to call the customer service again. Been a customer for 11 years and I have never seen this level of laziness or pure incompetence. I will be finding another service provider that actually cares about their customers and wishes to continue to do business with them.
