My cats tend to be very nervous in new places so it was very important for me to find someone who can create a comfortable atmosphere for them when getting groomed. She did an amazing job removing Milo’s matted fur and both of my cats were calm and content when I picked them up! It’s a far drive for us but absolutely worth all of it. Thank you!!

446 S Rand Rd, Lake ZurichWe brought our very anxious dog, Lucy, to Shaggy Paws today to get her nails trimmed and they did such a nice job!! Not only were they kind and patient but they were thorough. While they were trimming, they noticed the matting she had by her butt since she has long fur on her backside. They offered to take care of it & went above and beyond any expectation we had!!! We are so impressed & know that we can trust them to take care of our nervous doggy for all her needs from now on!

I’m a preschool teacher in Lake Zurich, and they generously took time to visit our classroom during our “Community Helpers” theme. Dr. Gill talked with the children about his profession, brought in different doctor tools for them to explore, and even surprised us with three adorable kittens. The kids were so engaged and absolutely loved petting the kittens. It was such a special, memorable experience for everyone—thank you again!

But Lois is a pro and took the time to discuss our dogs history and meet her in person. She's also got an amazing team who all are experts at handling reactive dogs and are all great to work with! Our dog now has a group of new trusted friends who make sure she gets outside during the day. Definitely recommend.

The barista seemed more annoyed than amused, which was disappointing. Not expecting a red carpet, but a little kindness goes a long way—especially when it’s someone’s first drive-thru adventure (yes, we take pet milestones seriously!). Hope next time there’s more smiles than sighs.

710 N Old Rand Rd, Lake ZurichCamilla was our waitress and hostess and everything. She was so sweet even if we came in at 9:15pm and they close at 10pm and they allowed us to still order any food. Thank you to the chef for that! This place is right across the street from yet…another lake! Lake Zurich is full of homes and restaurants that have a lake right across the street so it’s beautiful and promotes taking nice walks before and after dinner let’s say. Food was fun and good but the shrimp was a bit salty and the fish and chips were good with crispy light batter. Free and open parking.

The McAllister club was nice to split with my wife, with fresh ingredients and a sweet sauce with just a hint of spice…mostly mayo but there is something more going on there. Potato salad was fresh…..a little bland but that’s OK. Can’t beat the affordable prices.
