Getting told 4 words, “we’re closed, get out”, by the newly employed front desk worker Lily, has been the most disrespectful encounter I’ve had in 2 consecutive Sundays in my 30 years of being a member. Not only does she not smile, but she seems to really dislike her position. If that’s not the case, she might be taking out personal issues on customers. I’ve been frequenting this club for 7 years. Along with my whole family & many friends that also attend this facility. It doesn’t have the best or cleanest equipment. If it takes a newly employed attitude problem to get me to cancel our memberships & take my family & friends with me, this employee will have done what she perceives was her “job duty”. I don’t mind paying more for better service. All customers deserve better. Change is always good. Whoever is training the new staff, please regroup your process to promote retention. Unhinged employees are a disgrace to the company values & corporate branding. If anybody would like to follow up with me, I would be happy to provide more details. There’s a proper way to talk to a customer that demonstrates a certain level of professionalism. Aggressive, disrespectful, & condescending directives is not the way.
Rosa is a prime example of an outstanding employee! She should be promoted to train other’s teaching them transparency & effective communication skills.

Jorge was super honest, no hidden agenda, straight to the point, nice environment, clean, and pleasant to work out in. Definitely prefer to drive further to come to this location.

The location has no sufficient personal trainers. They dont have coverage for all times. The personal trainers expect clients to have no emergencies and they will not reschedule sessions. I understand 24-hour cancellation policy, but emergency happens, and they need to accommodate emergency needs of the client. If you need personal trainer i would recommend other locations with decent number of trainers available providing coverage at all times. This place is not for personal training due to lack of personal trainers available and flexibility of the trainers. Very disappointed with the customer service.

They have changed the schedule for Zumba so much important for women. If you work there is no more Zumba in the evening. I am very disappointed. And the schedule on the weekends.
Will be looking for something else.

It was nice place but some of the people doesn’t understand gyms rules, every time when I try to use sauna one person from Russia putting some mint crystal on the top of the hot rocks, a lot of people complained and trying to explain him not to do it , showed him the sign about it but nothing works , his name is Igor he was there around 10:30am looks like 50-60 years old , he is ignoring all of complaints from people around and saying it’s healthy but he doesn’t know what ingredients inside that crystal, please check the sauna randomly and cancel the membership for this kind of people because you gonna lose more people if you’ll keep ignoring the problem

All I can say if I have been attending so many different gyms over 40 years and can't say enough about the service I received from this manager. (In contrast to my past experience with managers-(Klye I believe) He went out of his way to 1) locate things I needed. 2) Assist me with a machine and 3) take seriously when I expressed a concern about an individual in the gym. He took the time to place himself near that individual to insure that I felt safe. I am not sure if he spoke to him directly but I was not bothered again. Just want to say Kudos to his service! Thank you!!

5 people at the basketball court got their phones stolen today and the gym didn't have a camera. I don't blame the la fitness, but people need to be aware that there are pickpockets wandering around the gym

I've been a member of LA fitness through Silver Sneakers for some time, and while I appreciate the membership price break, that's about the only good thing I can say for this partnership. When I first started going to the gym in 2018 or so, the bathroom smelled like sewer gas; I reported it to the front desk a couple of times. After I'd report it, for a couple of days, the bathroom would smell cleaner... But then the odor would return, eventually spreading clear to the pool area. (!) Then, the gym shut down for COVID, and when it reopened, everything smelled clean and fresh... For a while. But that didn't last.
I can't help thinking there's a major problem here that is not being addressed. Between that and the way things get filthy on Sunday afternoons (one time I saw a huge hairball stuck to the wall outside the pool shower), this place has become such a turn off that I can't bring myself to come back. And considering that this kind of thing has recurred repeatedly over several years...? Someone's not taking things seriously here. Not recommended.
