After shopping to a few mattress stores, American Mattress was my last final stop. I finally found the purple mattress I was looking for and thrilled with my purchase! As a combat veteran with 30 years of military service, I love that American Mattress is American made on U.S. soil. The manager was very knowledgeable in answering all of my questions. I am a satisfied customer! I highly recommend American Mattress for your next mattress purchase.

My issue is not with the store, but more with American Mattress in general. I have bought several mattresses from this store, and have had no issues. On my last mattress purchase, I was told the mattress was in stock and would be delivered. I arranged to take a day off of work, only to be informed the day before the delivery, that they could not honor their commitment and would have to reschedule for the following week. They said it was an issue with the supplier, or some other excuse. A week and a half later, I finally received my mattress and adjustable base. However, the base was broken out of the box. I refused delivery because I did not want to accept a brand new item that was broken, but was assured by the delivery man to keep the base and that American Mattress would exchange the base ASAP. They then call me later and say that they want to attempt to fix it instead. I waited several hours and then finally a person from the base company (Rize Home) came out and was unsuccessful at fixing it. Now, instead of getting a new base as promised, I am being told I have no choice but to take another day off of work and wait around for a repairman to fix the brand new base! Do yourself a favor and go to Mattress Firm or Hasseless Mattress where customers are still valued!

Robert , at Lake Zurich store, immediately tuned in to what I was after. He is one of the better listeners and it pays off. Robert is knowledgeable and very professional. He answered all my questions in a respectful and friendly manner. Robert did not push or pressure me in any way and I was very pleased and comfortable with my choice.
