My review wasn’t to degrade but to give input on my experience and that’s what I did . The owner took accountability as he should and it’s no hard feelings at all .
What I don’t agree with is all the Random and FORCED reviews being sent out to discredited my experience. No one is saying this man is a bad guy he just had a bad day and that’s ok . But for him to apologize and later get people to send out reviews to stop mine from showing does nothing but contradict his apology but also PROVE my point on how I was treated .
And now I see why he felt like it was ok to treat me a certain way because his CLIENTELE also goes by that code of conduct ( Everyone isn’t treated equally) . So your reviews make sense everyone isn’t judging a character before knowing the person .
This is equivalent to Me asking my 5k following to send this place bad reviews but I won’t do that because I wasn’t raised on ignorance I was raised on integrity.
Rather you seeing my one star review being shocking or not to speak on my experience is very outrageous, secondly to say you’re a POC when I SEEN you with my own eyes is also outrageous. You don’t know what it feels like to walk in my shoes and never will and I LOVE that for you so please don’t sit here and say you’re someone we both Know you are not .
I hope the 20$ I DONATED for a service only ONE shoe received plants the seed of ACCOUNTABILITY. My last time speaking on this business or this matter .
Everyone from the business to the clients do better this way of thinking is sick . As much as I want to accept this apology the aftermath of having people create forced reviews shows that wasn’t a genuine apology and I’m glad yall did this so people see THE TRUTH

Seeing that there was a 1-star rating here made me shocked! I happen to be the "customers daughter" in that review left & was superrr confused. Alex is a great owner, & I think they go the wrong impression of him sadly :( Especially the comment about race, as I'm also a POC, he's very kind to me and my mother. Plus, his grandchildren, whom he loves dearly, are the same race as that woman? He had their photos in his store, so if you really look around and get to know him, (like his name, which my mom asked the first time she met him) your experience will feel even more personal! Were friendly people so we wanted to know him better, he told my mom he's Ukrainian, so knowing that he comes from a culture where people are very direct, we took this into account & know that he's helping us, not belittling us. I hope anyone who read the other review reads this one & isn't deterred by a misunderstanding. Coming from a teenager, I think we should all be more understanding & kind. His work is great & so is his character. I'd definitely recommend his business!

Today was my third time here within the past two months, and Alex has been very helpful and direct with telling me what is possible to do or not.
I had previously been to another place at the mall, which repaired them poorly. I brought them to Alex and he fixed the same pair to a higher quality! It is very hard to find any true shoe repair places around, and his shop reminds me of authentic repair stores from my childhood. He tells you whats possible and has never overcharged me, he’s a genuine business owner.

THIS OWNER/OPERATOR HAS TREATED ME AND EVERYONE IN THIS COMMUNITY IN ADDITION TO THE MANY PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL FOR HIS SERVICES AMAZING WITH HIS RESPECTFUL AND PLEASANT PERSONALITY! ALEX HAS TOUCHED EVERY SINGLE PAIR OF HIGH END SHOES I OWN! EVERY SINGLE PAIR OF MY RED BOTTOMS, JIMMY CHOO, VALENTINO, AND LOUIS VUITTON HE HAS PUT PROTECTIVE SOLES ON THEM. HE HAS FIXED MY LOUIS VUITTON PURSES AND LUGGAGE ALSO. HE HAS STRETCHED MY HUSBAND’S FERRAGAMO WORK SHOES AND HAS ALSO DONE MANY OTHER REPAIRS ON ITEMS FOR US. NO ONE IS BETTER!!!

Honestly at first I was overreacting but this man’s whole demeanor change with customers I’m not going to assume it was because of the color of my skin . My first time coming I tried to explain to the owner that this is my first time I’ve never came to a shoe store before so I wanted to know if what I needed is something that could be done . He had a slick remark to make over my lack and knowledge changed the speed of his tone to a slower tone to mock my question. I thought it was weird but ignored it because maybe I was overthinking . After discussing and telling him where I felt pressure in my shoe I told him I wouldn’t need the shoes until next week he ignore my date and instantly said you’ll have to pay now in a tone as if I’d have a problem with that . I paid and left fast forward today I come to get my shoes other customers were there I watched his whole interaction with those customers to see if I was in fact overthinking or if he treats customers differently and unfortunately this man does treat customers differently. I watched him greet this lady by name and also introduce his self to the customers daughter .. I didn’t get that at all didn’t even know his name until that customer said it .. during his interaction with that customer he proceeded to tell her he wouldn’t charge her today for her service but on the date of pick up . As I’m watching the interaction I find myself disgusted and also disappointed. Once that customer left he went back to that nasty tone and asked me how my shoes felt I explained my right feels amazing but the left still is tight instead of helping me he again talked over me and went to degrading me saying it’s my fault because I didn’t answer his question right about where I felt pain . I started explaining this is why I came to him because I didn’t have knowledge and could only tell him about the pain he said this had nothing to do with knowledge but in reality it does you’re the professional As I’m talking his personal phone rang and he took the call in the middle of me talking at that point I was over it . I took off the shoes I brought to him and point my shoes back on he got off the call and asked if I wanted them stretched again and I said no because that’s the question I should’ve been asked in the beginning but instead I got degraded. He asked me if I was sure and upon walking out the door I said absolutely I will go somewhere where all customers are treated equally. Now I have a BIG event next week with shoes that feel different what I feel on the right shoe feels like it wasn’t done on the left that’s all I was trying to say but he kept talking over me I didn’t get a word In but the customer before me was able to explain everything about her heels without being interrupted and this man literally was giving her KNOWLEDGE on her questions and concerns . What’s done in the dark will come to light . If that man or anyone that knows that man reads this do better my generation and the generation under me should never have to feel what I felt . If you’re wondering why business is slow this is why . Also it’s so gloomy and depressing In there do some dusting and get a radio play some music .

Aristocrat is the best! I bought a typewriter made in 1959 and the stitching on case handles deteriorated. He replaced the handles and fixed my case. Although the typewriter is an antique, the case looks new. Thank you so much ?

The soles of my HD boots needed to be replaced. My husband took them in for me.. I am beyond excitement. Such a great job. Even shined them and they look phenominal.. Will definitely go back
