Doug's is THE place to go to get trans work done!!! Fast and fair!!! Brought them a '04 Excursion with 265,000 miles on it,had it back in a little more than a week. I like the fact they rebuild YOUR trans, not like most other places where they "swap" transmission rebuilt by someone else. All the work is done in house!!! Great job by Doug and his team.

Doug's Transmission Did a great job with my truck. It now shifts smoothly and predictably, delivering power very well. They also managed to squeeze it in much faster than they had quoted, which was much appreciated. Recommended.

Doug is phenomenal! I had a noise I couldn't identify, but after process of elimination I thought it was transmission. Saw positive reviews. Called and spoke with Doug, brought car in. Had one of those noises only a 'drive ' could make. Had lots of conversation, he looked/listened. Eventually concluded it wasn't transmission. Made a good recommendation for mechanic. Even though he didn't repair, he took the time. I appreciate his candor, his honesty. I will use him if I do have a transmission issue.

brought 700r4 in for bench build got back trans with no retainer for speedo drive gear and leaking (used) rear seal (what)he says there was no retainer on it so why would you not put one when asked when he could fix it he sad I don't no when I'll have time. I'm wondering what other used parts he put back in the trans (not a quality build that"s for sure)Service: Transmission
