Absolutely the worst. Most unfriendly people work here. We’ve been here multiple times thinking perhaps we just got someone on a bad day, it’s every day. They are all rotten. Avoid this place at all costs.

I had a postal money order that could not be used for the purpose intended so I needed to have the money refunded. I asked the Lake Forest post office multiple times if I could have the money refunded. They insisted multiple times that the post office could not do so, but that a bank could refund it. My bank said no, only the PO could do it. So I went back to the LF post office and they said the bank was wrong. I finally gave up dealing with the Lake Forest post office and went to Highland Park. A staff member there told me yes, the post office could and should refund the money. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help.

This post office is awful. The Tyrant Terminator did a great job exposing the people who work here.

Had to call multiple times and have the hold timed out repeatedly before someone decided to answer the phone. They told me to call another number then that number told me to call the original number again. Not very organized. I just want the envelope I signed for delivered.

Refused to take a letter to Spain as the “process took to long and it was a Saturday” no wonder the USPS is a money sapping laughing stock, staff can’t be bothered to do even the most basic of tasks

Our carrier, Lori acts like she’s on drugs and drunk half the time. Really wish we could get a new carrier. She’s a joke!

I’m not a permanent resident here, I come every few months, but at this post office, you either have a really nice employee or you strike out with an employee who acts like they’d rather be doing anything else. However, I’ve heard the building is a bit of a local tourist destination, and how could it not be? An art deco style building that looks like a fortress? However, they need to make some renovations in the interior as there are holes in the wall.

the postal workers at this locations are the biggest tyrants in the country and they deserve to be fried for denying the public services while a memeber of the public was exercising their first admendment right to film in public and the employees ran to the back and refused to perform their job and serve the public just horrible public service fire them asap

Job requirements to work here is a 6th grade education. Bonus for knuckle draggers. Thanks to TTA for exposing the ignorance.

They just won't learn. Tyrant Terminator owned them.

I am a proud Lake Forest resident hence it pains me to say this: the Lake Forest USPS office is the worst USPS office I have been to. Repeatedly underwhelming service. Nowadays, I drive triple the distance to the USPS offices in Libertyville or in Vernon Hills.

They don't answer phones. They have an employee who violated post office policy for employees that says the USPS employees can't film in the post office. They haven't read the mandatory stand-up talk memo sent out last August. From the postal inspectors that said leave people with cameras alone they're basically embarrassing the post office by bothering these people filming. They still haven't learned after the third visit.Anyone that sees the video on current Terminator audits can file a complaint Google contact post inspectors file a report and you can do it an anonymously and send them to that video finally complained against that employee violating his own postal service handbook rules.

Your rights end when you enter this PO. just watched a video on youtube and a 1st amendment auditor entered and politely said excuse me to the postmistress in her open doored office, she said give me one minute and swiftly closed the door she never came out to the customer to enquire if she could help him, and apparently this was not the first time he was there and she called the police both time despite her receiving education o the Post Office rules and regulations regarding recording on the premises.

Very nice staff. Had a passport appointment at 11:00 and was done by 11:15, very helpful.
