I called for help because I received a notice my mailbox is full . My mailbox has been empty for three days . The supervisor cut me off while speaking not once but three times . Told me he believes his post person and my mailbox is full and my mailbox is small. My mailbox is standard size and it’s been empty . I make sure to collect my mail everyday. The supervisor who refused to help further told me I have to go to the northgate location for my mail. Called northgate and they don’t have my mail. So now I don’t know what to do or who else to call . I’ve never received such terrible and awful treatment . If I had a choice I would never use USPS Lake Forest IL.

Signed up to Forward mail Dec 10 For several months. Have a confirmation number etc mail stopped until January then once again mail was delivered to my home and mailbox was so stuffed door wouldn’t close so anyone driving by knew nobody was home! Luckily my neighbor saw removed mail and called.Called post office asap and now waiting to see if they finally get it right. Worst post office in all of IL

Over the years I have always received amazing help from this annex. The people I speak with are always patient and do their absolute best to help me out. Due to my own error, I put the wrong address on a package and Ebony has been tremendously helpful in locating the package. Ebony always picks up the phone and works tirelessly to make sure we all get our mail correctly. I am very grateful for all the hard work that Ebony and the entire team at this annex does!

Everyone needs to understand , this is NOT a Retail location. This is a carrier annex and receiving center for Bulk Mail and pre-approved caller agents only!!! The Retail Windows for postage, passports, etc are located at 230 Northgate in downtown Lake Forest. It is not open to general public.

Lake Forest Post Master staffer "Joey" told me he's never heard there was any confusion between 100 S. Saunders (the correct address of the large 4 story Abbott Building) here in Lake Forest, IL 60045 and 100 N. Saunders. Unfortunately, all shippers have to ignore the U.S. Postal database and tell us the Post Master in Lake Forest refuses to correct the database so we wind up telling this to hundreds of people every month who cannot use their navigators to find us. Hello! We're right here on the South East corner of 94 and 60 our building can see COSTCO on the other side of the expressway and we ARE at 100 S. Saunders. Several hundred people work here. I assure you we exist at this address! Perhaps the Lake Forest Post Master has something against Abbott? Perhaps he or she marches to a different drummer?
