“Karl is knowledgeable and carries many unique small wineries, from Europe and around the world. He excels in Spanish (not well known in the US), Portuguese, and Italian Wines. Buy local from a person who understands wine, not mass market stores.”

“They have best and widest selection on premium whiskey, wine, and other spirits that I’ve seen in the area by leaps and bounds. They are also always eager and happy to help find particular brands or vintages when I’ve wanted or needed them for a client. The staff is courteous and helpful without breathing over your shoulder the whole time and the owners are fantastic to work with. If you need something nice for a client or friends or family for the holidays stop in here and if they don’t have it they will get it for you asap!”

“Luna Rosa in Highland Park, IL, features international wines produced by wineries that respect both earth and our health. The shop owner has amazing knowledge and personally selects her inventory. She helped us select a wine we both liked despite our very different preferences. After discovering this neighborhood gem, I am cancelling my wine club memberships in lieu of stopping by frequently to learn and purchase directly from Luna Rosa.I look forward to enjoying the shop's free wine tastings on Wednesday evenings and their occasional special educational wine events. I am thrilled to have discovered this store!”

“We have used this company since (at least) 2002 to provide water/dispenser to our office. They arrive as scheduled and the delivery drivers are always kind. We rent a dispenser from them and on the off chance we have a problem with it they make it a priority to fix/replace. Water tastes great and billing is easy!”

“Ive been to quite a lot of Binnys and other liquor stores in the Chicagoland area and after stopping at this one for the first time today, I can confidently say it is my favorite.Its a smaller store but the selection is far from small and the employees are all very knowledgeable and friendly. Compared to other stores I felt much more welcome at this location (although my experience at other stores was not negative) and every employee I spoke to was able to offer a suggestion, help me out or have a conversation with me about the tasty things I should have on my radar. Great store, great employees and great selection, not much more you can ask for.”

“Best Section of Food this Side of Town! Woodman's in the ONLY place where I can shop for dietary restrictions, but at the same time pick-up fan favorites for those in the family who have none. They have these BEAUTIFUL Flower Globes also and I HIGHLY recommend them as an alternative to traditional flowers as they last for months on end! And dirt cheap gas prices (Always the Cheapest in the Area). There's no going wrong with shopping at Woodman's! There's something for everyone!”

“A quality shop where you can find a good variety of alcohol beverages. I usually go here to get beer and wine and sometimes tequila or scotch. I have been to this location three or four times, and in all my visits, I received good service. The store was clean, the staff members were friendly and helpful, and the prices were not bad at all. I like the variety they have. If I am not pressed for time, then I do take my time browsing through the different variety of beverages they have even if I am not buying some of those items.
