OMG I’ve been doing bidness w/ Owner / Operator Michael Forman since we moved to Very East ( VELF ) LF in 1987 ( ironically the same weekend as Mr T ) and Michael, Along w/ faithful Pooch Fido have been servicing me con brio ever since.
1) Although often melancholy, MF always seems to perk up when I show up like clockwork on Thursdays in time for me to pay top$ for the myriad of chochkies( sic) he tries to unload like 5-color solar flashlights that glow in the dark and sunglasses w/ a Wig attached that even in Lake Bluff could pass for Trump.
2) Michael’s command of English along w/ Swahili and Mandarin make even the most cosmopolitan LF’er feel Velkome y BienVenue …
- What more can I say to merit his 5 star service? Freshly baked cookies? An horsd’oueurves plate rivaling only that of Onwentsia ? Most of all his chipper upscale mein even when they somehow Bombay your Aspen - bound skiis to Sri Lanka ?

As a young adult, I remember my mom sending me packages filled with great items, and I knew I was receiving something terrific when I saw the label was from Lake Forest Pack and Ship. I am older now, and mom recently passed away, so I needed to send a few valuables to my home in Georgia. Michael at LF Pack and Ship took the best care of me and the items. Everything (oil paintings, crystal, picture frames) arrived safely, in perfect condition, and early (thank you, FedEx ground)!

DO NOT use their storage + shipping services (especially if you have a lot of packages to store for a long time). They will: mishandle your boxes which causes them to spill, repack your boxes without telling you and lose items in the process, get your possessions dirty or wet due to poor storage conditions, and sometimes even lose whole packages (not to mention that they charge a ridiculous price of around $100 per box). What makes everything even worse is how they will NOT be responsive to your emails when you ask them about the conditions of your belongings. Even when they do reply, they exhibit an absolutely lack of willingness to help. As someone who has personally used their service and who is the friend of many others who have done the same, I must wholeheartedly warn you to NOT pay for their terrible services.

We highly recommend Michael and his business for shipping, packing, post office boxes, photocopies, mailing supplies, etc! We have been working with him for years and have never ever had an issue, nothing but excellent service! Love to support local businesses -- especially privately owned ones like this one. Five stars!

I came to this location to send a return package via FedEx. The company I was returning the item to had emailed me a QR code. I absolutely could not believe when the person helping me said that they could not take the QR code because they didn't have the device to read it. What?! So I was able to figure our getting a pdf to print the label from the company. I was told to forward it to Lake Forest Pack and Ship's email address so they could print it. After that was done, I was asked to pay $1.00 for the printing of the return label!!!! Keep in mind this is all because they couldn't read the QR code. In a bit of irony, they have a postcard with a QR code on it to make it easy to write a review on Yelp for them. Good thing I had a device in my hand that can read QR codes.

Rude and unprofessional to my wife today. When she requested FedEx receipt for the mail she was sending he tossed over the envelope and told to write it down. Very poor service. Suggest you avoid this place at all costs.

Prefer this pack and ship store to any other on the North Shore Best service ever from quick and efficient owner and staff. Plenty of parking so unloading boxes is never a problem.

I've come in to print a few times and they've always been helpful and well stocked. Printing is a bit pricey at $.50 a page (especially if you're a student).
