Sawyer is so happy here! The staff is very friendly, facilities are always clean and there is plenty of play space. I would highly recommend Lake Forest Kennel for great doggie daycare or a place you can feel good about for a longer stay when needed.

What a dump. I'm blown away by the price, especially after touring this place. There are no deals or discounts here and the facilities are dated and dirty. The "VIP" suites are in the office building and have sort of a picket fence look to them but that building is also disgusting. Tufts of dog hair everywhere. Worse than that are the remaining (non-VIP) boarding buildings that are further out on the property and totally unsupervised. Cold and dirty--I can only imagine it being hot and gross in the summer. Just dogs in cages. Btw their daycare system is also dogs in cages. I was heartbroken to see so many big dogs confined in small cages. They claimed it was lunch break for the dogs but no one had food. The interior kennel runs are crumbling, paint peeling. Several of the dogs didn't even have beds. No one monitors this area since it's not affixed to the office, so YIKES if your dog chokes on something or decides to chew at a bed out of stress/anxiety. They also have fields for the dogs but it's literally grass or gravel. I went on a rainy day and there were mud puddles EVERYWHERE. And guess what? Grooming costs extra! Likely because they have these filthy facilities and muddy fields, and think they can make a quick buck by not including grooming/bathing. And, by the way, all the grooming photos on their website are STOCK PHOTOS. The real dogs at this kennel are muddy and in cages! The biggest shock to me is that this is in the posh area of Lake Forest--a total 180 from the beautiful homes to this absolute DUMP of a location. Horrible. Even the promotional materials the staff gave me were all stained and gross. You can board your pet at other locations that are way cleaner and more professional for far less money. If you love your pet, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Juneau goes a couple of times per week and she absolutely loves it! The staff is friendly and professional. Juneau's tail starts to wag the minute we pull into the parking lot

The caring staff welcomes our golden retriever puppy with open arms each day. She can’t wait to join her friends for an active day in the fresh air. As an added bonus, she sleeps like a baby after a busy afternoon of play. Thanks so much!
